Thank you! I really had a mental block since so many galleries in my area demand hook-and-wire hardware to be accepted for any events and I just overthought this.

Hi Carly, Thank you for sharing this video. I've been procrastinating putting up a canvas given to me as a present for my 40th birthday last year. I was going to use those tough stick pads to hang/put it up, but I wanted the ability to take it down/move it either when I move home or decide it looks better somewhere else in my apartment. Anyways.. I was unsure on how to go about hanging it, which is when I jumped onto KZbin for inspiration. I came across your video and it really did give me the inspiration needed (as I don't really use drills) and I didn't want to risk f**%!ng up the canvas. So when I saw you did it without a drill, I was sold! Haha! So after a while of looking for the eye hooks (that wasn't a rip off), I finally found some. I was still anxious doing it for worry of damaging it, but I just decided to it. The pin didn't work, so I had to improvise & use a small posi screwdriver to create the hole for the eye hook. So it's done now and I'm buzzing that I've finally got the canvas up on the wall 🙌🏼 So thank you again for your video. I hope it helps many other people like me who are unsure of how to hang a canvas without using a drill. Sending you a virtual hug 🤗

I like the first method but how do I then hang it on the wall? My landlord doesn't allow drilling holes but I might have missed something? Command strips, velcro things, magnetic things haven't worked it's like the paint is too glossy or something, the canvas is always on the floor by the next morning 😮 Advice much needed please!!! 🇮🇪

i might have missed it but did your wall have a nail coming out of it? is there a way to do it without nailing the wall?
@CarlyJeanArt5 ай бұрын
Yes, you could use one of the command hooks that just stick to the wall! As long as the canvas isn’t too heavy. Hope that helps!

What size/length are those screw eyes? Thanks 😊
@CarlyJeanArt5 ай бұрын
They’re about a centimeter long and I think they’re considered a “small” screw eye. I hope that helps!
