But the normal difficulty (which doesn't even allow diamonds anyway) is still pretty tough. New players should also be able to make use of the min difficult from it. So it can be playable by newcomers, 1-2 year players and veterans +4

You could’ve replayed the final boss run. The “revive your characters” message is automatic so you can press on the “x” and retry it again. That or accept to buy stones and it will redirect you to the shop, where you’re not forced to buy anything and you can just get back to the final battle. Your characters and the bosses will be have the health they had at the end of the previous battle. Like in tower bosses.

The worst part about that boss battle wasn't the time modifier or dot immunity it was that they only take damage from sp1 and most characters have terrible sp1s

Thats why you got less hearts in elder, don't skipp battles, it gives 3 hearts +bonus(if 2x then +6 hearts) thats 9 hearts each fight Do every fight and explore everywhere

MK11 rain, Klassic Raiden, and MK11 Shang if you have those characters. They are multipliers and Recovery and healing helps a lot. I like the game mode but is time consuming. Best part is, you can take a break and jump right back into it. Also boss battles save the damage done to them even if you don’t win the fight.

yeah, boss mk11 jade team with shielded modifier apparently is a thing now I guess... P/S: Don't quit out on boss team if you survived for the entire run. The bosses health will saved up like in tower and also by the end of the run you clearly see that your whole team aren't dead yet, the annoying thing is that the message totally triggered you to use soul and buy revive. What you want to do is hit the cross on the right corner of the message and get into the boss stage again and it still fine.

Minus the Glitches this type of videos are fun to watch. It's like Survival fights, not too hard like Tower Battles and not too easy either with some fun fun teams too. So yeah it's really fun to watch

You can buy repeat revivals, essentially may be several of those if you have a weak team. I find its better to just use the revitalize on all your main 3 after every run with regen teams, so you end up saving on revival stones in the end. What needs to be FIXED is the limit on equipment buys, if someone has maxed diamonds and prefers equip they should have the option. Im assuming they will alter Quan Chi/Shang's new equipment every week. But that would take a very long time to max out. If you do get the epic or rare as drops in the krypt, it would still take a long time maybe 2 months if youre extremely lucky and grind/buy krypt keys.

The elder difficulty becomes much easier with Circle of shadow team consisting of LK,SZ & KL because LK provide regen to teamates and demolishes opponents with his lethal blows which increases in chance through SZ!!

Completely rigged, only the best players with the best characters and the best equipment can beat the higher boss battles before time runs out forcing you to burn 150 souls in top of the 150 souls if the game crashes. Complete crap. I've gone through the 600 souls they sent for the last glitch in 2 days

Assassin and DOD Jade's Sp1 is fixed. Now it cannot miss. Previously you would completely miss her Sp1 if you push your enemy far with basic attacks and they are out of her staff's reach. Now it's reach has extended. I like that!!!

I didn't do hard difficulty, only elder difficulty. But from what I hear the hearts rewards aren't that much different compared to hard difficulty. I guess the actual difference in rewards is in konsumables and potential gear and kharacters from battles and boss battles.

It's okay to click revive no one is in your team dies. So click revive you don't lose the soul and just press back and continue your fight like a regular tower boss.

I'm 37 days in and managed to beat Normal Krypt 2 times out of 5 tries but it's always difficult and I do some silly mistakes sometime. I also don't do all the fights. I have also spent some money on the game though otherwise I think I would have needed a month more to do it...

I don't know if the second heart count is the max amount of hearts that you can get. On Hard and Elder difficulties if you have max bonus, it says that you can get over 2k hearts. I beat Hard difficulty only skipping 1 or 2 fights a floor and I only end up roughly 1.5k with bonus. It's a bit frustrating when I'm planning my purchases with the hearts displayed and only end up getting half of that. The fights I skip usually just give about 6 hearts anyway so I don't get why I'm not even reaching getting close to the range when I'm only skipping maybe 6 battles total that give 6 hearts and maybe some consumables.

I like his positivity. He has a few stones " omg I have so Manny" meanwhile me having 300 pieces of each stone and I still think I need more and for me are a few and I try to complete it by not using them at all. *won't lie I'm cheating in the game and all I'ma say is krypt isn't worth it. I legit didn't like 4 or 5 elders (completed every battle on every floor because that's obviously what they want u to do for hearts) and after all that got 5 to 6k hearts. Like it is way not worth it and if it's true that you don't keep the hearts after the week is up then yeah krypt is already a failure but still free diamonds if you can get to 34k hearts in five days (2 diamonds cost 10k and one cost 14k not to mention I would come back after not playing for a little and one of my tries are gone but still at the same spot in the krypt. So I'm pretty sure the krypt is a whole scam so people can loose tries and spend keys/buy*

Also to Starinsky: You should overthink how much the elder krypt is really a scam. We both know: to get a random diamond, its worth around 1000 souls (because we play the towers with refreshes, which costs around 800 souls with resells). To get a diamond which is not a resell , and if we have around 50% of diamonds maxed out, its worth 2000 souls for us (if we go with the same logic). To get a diamond of OUR choice (when we go for packs), we sometimes buy for instance the Shang Tsung pack, with 4,5 % chance to get Shang Tsung - for 25 packs (with resells thats 8000 souls for a diamond of OUR choice). The damage in boss battles in the krypt are saved - so you are doing small and steady damage. Lets say you need to revive yourself even 5 times in an elder god run. Thats 250 souls for 2200 hearts. Now - lets look in the krypt store, how much a diamond costs which you dont have. Thats up to 14 000 hearts for Joker. Thats 7 times 250 souls need to spend ....Thats 1750 souls. This is still less, than to play the tower for a random diamond you dont have. You say its time consuming ? Now lets see, how much in average you have to play a normal tower, for a NOT-resell diamond (if you have 50% maxed out diamonds). That means usually around 400 fights (2 tower runs... if you beat all boss battles in one try). How much time it costs to beat 400 battles ? Lets go for 1,5 minute for fight, loading times, etc ... Thats around 600 minutes, or 10 hours. How much does 7 runs in the krypt need on time ? I stopped it... its around 1,25 hours per run. Thats a bit less than 10 hours ... But we can say - in time, its around the same. So you see: you dont have more ''time consuming play'' than with the towers itself. But the fights are more easy than with the towers (on high level). Also you have the chance to get consumables (i got consumables to revive my team from the fights itself). So spending 250 souls on 5 revives, is super pessimistic calculated. I made around 5-6 runs so far - have 10 000 hearts, and only spend 150 souls so far (and i didnt even needed to spend that, as i found out later ... but its ok - learning curve). So really ... its not as bad as you think - even (or espescially) if you compare it with the towers. Also compared with the towers you can manage the time you play the game much better... its a 24 hour refesh, and you can play it whenever you want to on the day - not having to fear, that you miss 12 hour refresh, if you slept for to long and need to work, etc.. The krypt is better than it seems from outside.

Even if my 1,5 minute per fight (with loading screens, win-screens, etc is estimated to much) , i would say: we can safely say, its around the same scale of hours for a non-resell-diamond. And we really never should underestimate: the advantage of : the right of choosing, WHAT we want to get for our time (in tower, you cant choose your reward). Besides that i can choose what i want to buy for my hearts, i also got random gears dropped from the krypt (1 Shang Tsung Brutality epic piece, 1 rare Shang Tsung Brutality rare piece, and 1 Quan Chi rare Brutality piece(!) ).. the rest i bought from the store, for 10 000 hearts. Thats 5 runs. Again: thats 2 epic Brutality pieces and 3 rare pieces in total for 5 runs. And i could choose! In average thats a rare or epic piece per run! Thats already better than my tower runs ever were! I also have to say: if you set the right team - espescially for this krypt event, you can also do mostly auto mode (as i did). I used as team: Black Dragon Erron Black (Fusion 10) , MK11 Shang Tsung (Fusion 9), and Day of the Dead Kitana. On Erron Black i gave the gear: Stunt Award (maxed out) mostly for unblockable chance, and snare immunity while shield is active (i barely use the 100% chance to gain shield on Special attack 2, because i mostly spam special 1 with Erron Black, but its a nice to have) Than Earth elemental facemask, for 30% resistance to all debuffs (which is very handy in automode) and 20% powergeneration. Then : Weekend Dad gear (maxed out) And Varmints lucky hat. Both are for Shield, and Team shield on Tag out. Day of the Death Kitana is mostly not used in fight, and mostly for team-support. Whenever a opponent dies, the Team heals ... and the team already gets shield all the time, so it barely loses any health in the first place! Kitana is therefore more of a redundancy - "for the case something in the fight goes wrong" , she heals all the time - also she can weaken the opponent, if the opponent team is "to strong". Her gears are therefore team-supporting gears: Shintai of Malice : 28% Team resistance to all debuffs (no snare from the opponent, to get one character killed). And the chance to apply death mark on users Tag in (also very useful). Craftmans Pride = 20% team max health! Body of Steel: 30% Resistance to all debuffs (with that the weakest part of the chain: Kitana, cant be killed - she has literally 100% debuff-resistance). And last but not least her gear: Rockin Bowling stones (an epic piece of klassic tower), which gives the team additional 17% unblockable chances on basic attacks (very important for auto mode). MK11 Shang Tsung has: Rusty Chainsaw, for unblockable chances, and reduced power cost on Special Attack 2 (i mostly work with special 2, because it heals him and makes the most damage) Storm hat (for Power generation boost). Viper hood, for 60% resistance to snare (with talent tree i got 80% resistance to snare - very important in auto mode, when the opponent is Kabal) - also it gives additional regeneration for 7 seconds! And rare piece: Red Headband for power generation, AND 45% recovery boost (to be more safe!) My talenttree (first number is the choice...second number how much picks i put in): Offense: 2 (4) ...1 (5) ... 2 (5) ..2 (5) ...1 (5) .. 3 (5)...2 (5) Defense: 3 (5) (Hawk Stence) Support: 1 (5) ... 1 (5) ... 2 (1) ....2 (1)... 2 (1) With those Characters, those gears, and those talenttree , i was able to do the krypt mostly on auto mode (even the boss battles in the first two floors !) With that my speed run of the floors is around 60-65 minutes. By the way..its possible to do the floors without fighting every fight as you know it - because mostly the fights doesnt give a big reward (mostly only 3 hearts - sometimes even nothing!). With that the krypt can be finished even faster. But i dont recommend it. Quan Chi's rare brutality i got from a normal fight in the krypt! So: there is always a chance to get something good from it! And the chances, as i explained are definetely higher, than in the towers. Mand also got a rare brutality piece from a normal fight - so its really not "rare" to get rare pieces. I dont want to be negative, and i hope it doesnt comes in a bad way , but your choice of characters in this video was really not good. Try my choice i described above in detail. You will see: its a walk in the park! :) And its quiet fast... needs super low skill (because i also dont want to mind about skill), and gets the job done :) They literally heal all the time, and have shields up all the time ;)

Yeah, i shoot 3 ducking blinded videos too, with a 3 blinded fights. Also the game crushed 3 times per run yesterday! And i buyed 9 revival stones just because the game still crushes. I'm soooo angry, hate 'em a lot. Donnow what to do. P.s. Also, if you tried to revive that last one character, you can continue fight with all characters alive.

You don't have to escape if the time runs out if u click the close button ur team will be alive withe life they had at the end of the battle. You can the bosses health will be carried to next battle like in towers.

Equipment drop rates depend on the luck you get. I support everyone who said they got equipment FROM BATTLES since they explored the whole thing on each floor. My Shang Tsungs are weak. I only used them for the extra poins and equipment gear team. In my personal experience, and surely not showing off, I did not struggle with tha last boss fight which in fact has the same characters. I have a theory, if you did struggle, considering your characaters and equipment, I think the krypt analyzes how good your team is and the equipment you've got, thus it makes it harder for you. Yesterday i wasted almost 1000 souls just for revival stones because of standing bug.... Theres nothing u can do...no attacks nothing autoplay doesn't work.... Ur player is stuck... enemy is stucked and u can only do is exit the game and loose 15% of the acquired fight and revive ur teams with 150 souls worth of revive stones.... I did this almost 4-5 times.... Thats seriously annoying as hell

Starinsky: Because of the blind fight: hey its called elder difficulty for a reason! :P But jokes aside ... i also got a crash to screen while i was on my third floor of elder difficulty krypt - while i was in a fight. That meaned for course: that the game considered that as a "lost fight" , and all my characters were dead (which did fine and had full health until that crash to screen). So yes the krypt is a bit bugged... And as you said it: its very time consuming. Literally needs more than a dozend hours of grinding for a week, just to get the friendship-gear from the krypt. Its ok for now, because we have only one normal tower to grind. But when they will be 2 towers, and the krypt - and watching ads... and doing quests every hour. That literally consumes the whole day - every day - of a gamer. I agree with you : the krypt is a good new game mode. But they somehow need to polish it. Making it less boring. After doing 6-7 runs on elder difficulty (thats 28 floors) - it can be quiet boring. Let alone, if we imagine doing that for months, and more. Btw - a bit of information about the krypt: It seems that the store offers different characters for every gamer (maybe its random ? ) ...because i dont have that Joker-diamond offer, or that gold Kitana, you had. The gears (Shang Tsung friendship gear) seem to be the same though.

You're right, the store is different. I remember in my store I can buy Diamonds like Guardian Terminator, COS Liu Kang and DOTD Erron Black. The Gold buyable characters are Lizard Baraka, One Sonya and One Reptile (sorry, don't remember which variations)

If u lose the boss fight due to time, all ur cards gets knocked out even if it didn’t get knocked out in battle. Very annoying and there’s the annoying amount of bugs. Shang Tsung 😤

I’m on iOS aswell and my game fully crashed while on krypt and killed all my characters even after the bug fix update recently

I have the same glitch the screen freezes but you can still hear the fight in the background which I lost all 3 characters which sucks, however I also have a glitch where the sound echoes and sounds strange so I just put it on mute unfortunately.

The thing is u ccoul have revived all ur characters again and the bosses hp stays the same damaged so u can fight them again and all the damage would already be there just like Towers.
