Starjunk 95 - Funk Dust Soul (Original Mix)

"Years ago, there was a fabled group of street heroes known as the "Funk Dust Renegades." Comprised of 11 unique individuals with different skills and backgrounds, they formed together to help protect the streets and keep the peace, love, groove, and harmony in society.
Legend has it, however, that one day they all mysteriously vanished without a trace of what happened. Some say they were forced to disband and leave their territory, while others say it was something much more heinous. No one really knows what happened to them or if they even existed - but one of the most interesting takes on this urban legend is that supposedly they were "taken out" by a very powerful, evil organization. In their last attempts to save society from the evil bestowed upon them they channeled their energy into a magnificent blast, scattering their souls across the galaxy.
These souls are said to still be out there, gleaming with a brightly colored glowing aura and echoing a mesmerizing soundwave. People have referred to these strange orbs as "Funk Dust Souls" due to them originating from the fabled Funk Dust Renegades, and supposedly if you come across one of these strange orbs it can change your life. It's said that each one contains a different power - a sort of hypnotic groove that fills your body with energy and allows you to transcend into a higher plane of existence. Not only are these powerful and sought after orbs, but if you get all 11 of them something huge is supposed to happen. Supposedly you gain the ability to harness crazy sonic frequency that has the power to create - or destroy - on different wavelengths. No one knows for sure, but what YOU need to know is there are most definitely people out there searching for these Funk Dust Souls - and one of the most infamous groups on the hunt is the Industrial Sunsets Corp.
The Industrial Sunsets Corp says their "a leading technology corporation that specializes in creating revolutionary nature technology. Our BioGenesis and Augmented Digiscapes offer immersive, technologically-enhanced environments that redefine the way people interact with nature. Our patented NatureVerse and CyberFlora Grid technology seamlessly blends the natural and digital worlds in an unparalleled fusion of nature and technology, offering a unique experience that redefines what it means to be connected to the natural world."
That's what their website says, but really they're an artificial technology company that creates fake nature that induces some trance-like state in people. They license their technology out to towns and cities that have already had their existing natural habitats decimated, they create some artificial sunset BS that gives a drug-like induced state to 20,000-50,000+ people at a time, and then after a few hours they wrap things up - leaving entire cities with withdrawal symptoms for days and weeks at a time until their local governments can fork up enough money for another "Digiscape Experience"
It's like a fireworks show that gives people a high and they're destroying entire communities with their technology, so it's no suprise they're looking for even greater control with the Funk Dust Souls. Here's the thing - they have a very open working relationship with the Rokkaku Group which has been pushing Agenda X for quite some time, and both of these powerful organizations can do a lot of harm if they get even 1, let alone all 11 Funk Dust Souls. And that's where the Starjunk crew comes in. All the crew members have their own personal vendettas with these organizations, and they aren't gonna let them destroy any more lives. Together they patrol the streets, planets, and galaxies to stop the evil forces around them, and thus have been nicknamed the Miracle Renegade Patrol. They're doing the work the 11 original Funk Dust Renegades tried to do, and this group of ragtag misfits is doing a darn good job of it. However, with more notoriety comes more attention, and you know the Rokkaku Group & Industrial Sunsets Corp have got their sights set on taking the Starjunk 95 crew out for good.
Will they be successful in stopping these evil organizations? Will they meet they same fate that the Funk Dust Renegades met? Will we eventually meet new characters and crew members on this journey? Only time will tell... and until next time....stay tuned Stargang"
