If I use this connector for my grill lights, will they be on still if I turn the headlights off but leave the parking lights on?

Hi - Yes that is correct. Basically, they will come on anytime the headlights come on through normal (automatic) operation, OR when you turn your knob to the parking lights position which turns on all marker lights/ tail lights.
