Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 - Blunty3000 interviews Starkiller himself, Sam Witwer
In Episode two of Blunty's Force'Tober, meet the man who plays, and is the physical model for Galen Marek, better knows as Darth Vader's secret apprentice, or just Starkiller.
Sam is also the voice actor for Emperor Palpatine in the game.
Whitwer is also know for his work in Smallville, as Davis Bloom / Doomsday,
Stars in Being Human, Crashdown in Battlestar Galactica and much more.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is LucasArts' sequel to 2008's Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game.
The game takes place about seven months after the events of the first game, and a year before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Players once again control Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice and the protagonist in the first game, who believes he is a clone. Starkiller escapes from captivity on Kamino where Darth Vader has again betrayed him by placing him in shackles and ordering his execution. After eliminating his stormtrooper captors, Starkiller embarks on a quest to understand his identity and to find his love interest from the first game, Juno Eclipse. Meanwhile, Darth Vader has hired Boba Fett to track down Juno Eclipse to lure Starkiller out of hiding. Starkiller rescues Jedi Master Rahm Kota from a gladiator arena, and encounters Yoda on Dagobah.

truthseeker73able It's not a bad idea to be fair, say Starkiller is 17 come his death in The Force Unleashed, so his clone would logically ve the same age. Making Starkiller around the same age as Luke. So it's possible he could father Rey if had a kid in his mid-late 30's. Obviously though that would mean reestablishing Starkiller and Juno as canon (which could be done through Rebels), and then finding an explanation as to why he wasn't aiding the Rebellion during the original trilogy.

Great interview. It is great to see that not only the developers of the game are emotionally attached to making a great game. You can see that Sam really loved the story of SW:FU2 and would have given his best to sell Starkiller as a character with a "personality", not as a lifeless one liner character that you see in a lot of games now.. Actually, I can see Sam Witwer doing a main character (supp. Starkiller) in one of the Star Wars Spin-Offs. Hear me out; Due the darker scenery and story we already experienced with 'The Rogue One', it matches perfectly into the side stories of Star Wars. Also that the happenings in the those movies do not interfere directly with the main plot, gives it a greater chance to actually be filmed. It would take place after the events of 'Revenge of the Sith' and before 'The Rogue One', due the fact that the Rebellion has allready been formed in TRO. It gives plenty of space for new untold stories. So if you hear me Disney, let this happen and I would be glad to pay an entrance ticket to the theatre and prob. also buying the Blu Ray afterwards

Jordan Kay This is exactly what is wrong with fanboys. What makes Luke a far better character is that he is not all-powerful. Being able to use super-duper Level 5000 lightning doesn't make Starkiller a better character. He has become this idealized Mary-Sue. "OoOOoh he iz soooo cool cuz he wuz a sith AND a jedi so he haz a gud side and is super DUPER pOweRful!" I have one question for TFU fanboys: When Starkiller beat Vader and had Palpatine at the end of his saber ready to kill the Emperor (something NO other character has done which already makes it unbelievable), how many Rebel soldiers had to die between TFU1 and TFU2 because Kota and Starkiller didn't have the foresight to end the Empire there and then by killing the emperor? "NO! Don't give into the dark side!...Like if you kill the emperor, you could end the construction of the Death Star and save the Galaxy... but like don't do it cuz...well the emperor is in later films nd shit so....yeah don't."

Council member AND one of the greatest swordmasters of her time? That counts for nothing? And he has had as much of an impact on the rebellion as kenobi, organa, solo, yoda, skywalker, all of them! Jordan Kay No idea why I would be butthurt when your precious TFU and all the characters are now non-canon with Rebels taking its place. First of all, I love the PT. I was born in 1992 so Star Wars began with Phantom Menace for me. Maybe don't make assumptions like that, because a lot of times you can be proved wrong, just like now. Human? You think Starkiller was "human"? You think he can be compared to other Jedi? I just happen to think that Jedi pulling down star destroyers and killing 100 stormtroopers with lightning don't make for interesting characters. If you play TFU and TFU2 and then watch the OT, it doesn't feel like the same universe. I can never imagine Ben Kenobi doing giant leaps and killing rancors. I want all canon to feel like characters from one film/game/book could fit easily into any scene in the PT or OT. Luke was a good character because he was human in that he had these ideals of what a hero he wanted to be like his father, and when he is beaten and vulnerable in Cloud City, his world collapses when his sense of reality is turned upside down by learning that the evil he was born to fight is his familial heritage. If Luke beat Vader with mega-powerful force powers every movie, it would be boring and meaningless. This is why Starkiller doesn't fit at all. *Quick sidenote:* When Starkiller jumps from his ship into the Death Star after kissing Juno, how are they breathing? They're in space, not an atmosphere. You're forgetting a *crucial* teaching of Yoda in Episode V - "Wars make not one great." Your arguments about how he was a good character were that he was stronger than all of the other jedi and sith. Why would I want superman without kryptonite? The whole raison d'etre of Vader and the Emperor is that they are indestructible to all but one; Luke Skywalker. When Vader kills Captain Needa or the Emperor gives his chilling lines to Luke in Episode VI, I don't want to have to remember that they both got their asses kicked by some random over-the-top powerful jedi. It undermines the characters. I hope you watch the behind the scenes of TFU and realize that they set out to make TFU not to fill the gap in the stories of III and IV, but that they said "wouldn't it be wizard if we had a sith that was mega powerful like God of War?...What? Story and character development?....Sure put that in but make sure there's cool action first." I'm willing to admit that if TFU had not gotten a sequel, I would not be arguing like this. Starkiller's sacrifice is noble and it makes sense that such a powerful freak of force power is removed by having him die. But this inspiration to start the rebellion thing is completely negated when TFU2 was made, because suddenly he's back - thus making his sacrifice just a thing that happened for the sake of it. When TFU 2 ends and Vader is beaten (again *yawn*), why doesn't starkiller or even Rahm Kota learn the lesson of the past and instead of capturing him, take him out then and there. Presumably thousands of men died in the Kamino assault alone. *BUT NO!!!* They still have to follow the Jedi code. To me, that makes no sense, because surely they would make an exception since Vader is beaten so seldom. But as I said, I don't need to worry about TFU, thank God.

If TFU3 does happen it might mainly center upon the evil clone of Starkiller. With the new era of gaming consoles with its new mechanics, I'm pretty sure TFU3 is going to be better than the first and second games. About the rumors with TFU3, I think I heard it from a KZbin video or article that talked about TFU3 being worked on. I'll see if I can find it again.
