This is definitely my favourite and for me the most powerful song of the movie. It makes me feel pain, sadness, hope and inspiration - all in one. Like that moment when you have to climb the mountain and it's really hard and painful, but once you reach the top, you experience the sweet taste of victory. It hurts but it's beautiful. And motivating.

2:56 is such a power moment! The man with the white dreads, the man with the burnt scars on his face, the eldest Albino twin, and the tattooed man, all four of them leading the peak of the dance so powerfully. You can feel their devotion and their emotion! It’s incredible and inspiring to see how the choreography becomes the embodiment of being free and thriving on who they are. The dance so well together, like a family :)

The best song and the best scene in the entire film. Jackman's incredible voice, the chorus, the choreography, the power of him running to reclaim what he's lost and repent to his wife, and then Philip and Anne, finally able to be together. Perfection. Say what you will about this film, but this scene is right near flawless.

I understand that for many of the cast members, they didn't just show up on days where they were part of the shooting. They also showed up when other cast members were shooting. And, Hugh Jackman was one of the ones who appeared, on-set, even though his scenes were not being shot that day. He just wanted to be there to see and to provide support for those whose scenes were being shot. And, no, that is not common behavior for a "big-name" actor.

What was it the critic called it? "A celebration of humanity". Understatement of the damn century. The happiness and joy of this cast throughout the whole film didn't come from the perspective of their characters. You just felt the people themselves were so happy to be in this film, they lost sight of their characters and just became themselves dancing their hearts out with their friends. I've never come out of a film, gone straight to the ticket machine again, metaphorically said "Take my money", and went straight back in again before. Reason is watching this you get a small slither of the joy they felt performing this. And that tiny piece had me welled up and beaming the whole film through. No other film has made me feel that sort of happiness before.

But..I know its all stress related as I don't believe Ive had any germ-inflicted things. Cody Harris that just reminded me of a video I saw. Were everyone was together singing the songs to see how it was going to sound in the final takes of recording in the studio. Hugh was sick and wasn't allowed to sing but when it came this song (one of the guys who was part of the choir that sang the songs) was replacing Hugh but a few seconds into the song Hugh couldn't take it anymore and started to sing. One of his eyes was beelding (because of the healh problem he had) but he didn't care he kept singing it with all his passion .

The one where Jackman lost the "No Singing Challenge". Look close enough, you can see which actors made it to the final cut. As a former actor myself, I can tell you that the table-reads are the most genuine performances because they're done before weeks of grilling rehearsals "regiment" the performer's emotional responses, which is why the table-reads are so much fun, and it showed there too. Especially the tall blond guy with the grey skin patches. During the table read, he was *about* it.

Have you heard of Fred Astaire? His lesser known (and appreciated) main dance partner was Ginger Rogers. Well, many people, who are resentful that woman have not been given enough credit throughout history, have said that, "Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did (dancing-wise) except she did it backwards and in high heels". lol. Kind of a underrated song and number surprisingly. I hear a lot of people getting caught up in the title song ending the film, which is great, but this is a beautiful finale/pre-finale. Barnum] I drank champagne with kings and queens The politicians praised my name But those are someone else's dreams The pitfalls of the man I became For years and years I chased their cheers The crazy speed of always needing more But when I stop And see you here I remember who all this was for [Chorus: P.T. Barnum] And from now on These eyes will not be blinded by the lights From now on What's waited till tomorrow starts tonight It starts tonight And let this promise in me start Like an anthem in my heart From now on From now on From now on [Ensemble] And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! [P.T. Barnum] From now on! This song is my favourite in the movie. The entire thing that create this song really made my day. The situation where they finally going in the right route. And the dance that serious suit the song and how they create the beat. I really wanna try dancing like that. The atmosphere how everything start to feel so happy. The singers. The joy in every actor. They are all individuals that became one in this movie.

FROM NOW ON- LYRICS I saw the sun begin to dim And felt that winter wind Blow cold A man learns who is there for him When the glitter fades and the walls won't hold 'Cause from then, rubble One remains Can only be what's true If all was lost Is more I gain 'Cause it led me back To you From now on These eyes will not be blinded by the lights From now on What's waited till tomorrow starts tonight Tonight Let this promise in me start Like an anthem in my heart From now on From now on I drank champagne with kings and queens The politicians praised my name But those are someone else's dreams The pitfalls of the man I became For years and years I chased their cheers The crazy speed of always needing more But when I stop And see you here I remember who all this was for And from now on These eyes will not be blinded by the lights From now on What's waited till tomorrow starts tonight It starts tonight And let this promise in me start Like an anthem in my heart From now on From now on From now on And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! From now on! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! And we will come back home And we will come back home (yes!) Home, again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home, again! From now on! These eyes will not be blinded by the lights! From now on! What's waited till tomorrow starts tonight! It starts tonight! Let this promise in me start Like an anthem in my heart From now on! From now on! From now on! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home again! And we will come back home And we will come back home Home again! From now on From now on Home again! (Ooh ooh) From now on From now on Home again!

This proves that even to a great or light downfall, true people who cherish you will be at your side. That's true love and friendship. I remember what his wife had told him, "You don't need everyone to love you, just few good people."
