🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

Thank you Flynn, Reading is a great suggestion. Like you said, I visited Reading in 2015 although back then HSTs were the mainstay of InterCity! I’ll try and go back as soon as I can 😃

With less than a week to go of the MML HSTs, I've got a lot of content saved up of them already and I may even film the last one out of St Pancras if I get time later this week. I will also be sad to see them go, I've known them on the Midland Mainline for as long as I can remember. End of an era.

Maybe. This isn’t my local so I don’t visit it a lot but it is one of my favourites because of the unhindered view of fast midland mainline trains. The freight is pretty good as well! 😃

Right away we see: Class 43 HST pulling MK3 coaches on the London - Sheffield service Class 222 Meridian working the London - Sheffield service in EMT livery, and then the same type of train going to Nottingham THAT MADE IT INTO EMR LIVERY! Freight Train Another Class 222 Meridian working the London - Sheffield service in EMT livery Class 66 Loco pulling freight at SPEED! Class 156 Sprinter working the Lincoln - Leicester regiojnal service THAT MADE IT INTO EMR LIVERY! Class 222 Meridian working the London - Sheffield service THAT MADE IT INTO EMR LIVERY! Class 66 Loco Pulling freight not at speed REALLY EARLY! 2 Class 222 Meridians in a row working the London - Nottingham service, 1 THAT MADE IT INTO EMR LIVERY, and 1 did not. Class 156 Sprinter working the Lincoln - Leicester regional service THAT MADE IT INTO EMR LIVERY, but only went as far as Nottingham. 2 Class 222 Meridians working the London - Sheffield AND Nottingham service in EMT livery. Class 66 Loco Pulling freight not at speed! Class 43 HST pulling MK3 coaches on the London - London via Corby and Leicester service. 2 Class 222 Meridians in working the London - Nottingham then London - Sheffield service, 1 THAT MADE IT INTO EMR LIVERY Class 158 Sprinter working the Leicester - Lincoln service in EMT livery. Freight Trains Class 222 Meridian working the London - Sheffield service THAT MADE IT INTO EMR LIVERY! Would you be doing Corby and Kettering once the Class 360 "EMR Connect" Desiro trains have entered service. EMR should keep the Class 43 Mk3 HSTs for little bit longer despite EMR wants to replace them as well the Class 180 Adelante and Class 222 Meridians with the Hitachi Class 810 "Aurora" IETs coming into service from 2022/23.

Definitely Andrew. The Midland Mainline is not expected to receive any 'New' trains for several years so the 360s will have to do for now!

I believe it is an empty stock service which is used to keep driver route knowledge via Corby. I don't think there are many passengers services on that route.

156912 used to be 156412 before it moved to EMR. The 9 was added to tell staff that it cannot operate in multiple with a 156/4. Hope this helps 😃
