Well, technically JR was correct. Yet, so was Cliff in a way. It WAS his father Digger that found the oil. However, once Digger's drinking and gambling became a real problem, Jock put future wells in their venture in his name only so Digger wouldn't lose them but intended to split equally with with him. Digger automatically assumed Jock was trying to steal from him and left.

I can relate better to the problems people had on Knots Landing so that was my favorite show to watch. Also Lisa Hartman, Donna Mills and Constance McCashin were my 3 favorite characters on the shows. I love these 3 ladies !!! 💚💚💚

His battles with Bobby and JR were legendary, he usually came up on the wrong of the stick, but that's what he got for going against JR. But Ken Kercheval played the role brilliantly in my opinion.
