This scene was classic because I remember it from a friend of mine told me about it yesterday. Kimberly Cryder was married at the time to her husband Wilson, and she was cheating on him with JR Ewing. Kimberly was conspiring to get JR to become CEO of Westar. Of course there was a catch, and the only way that would happen is if JR married her. JR was not having that, and then Kimberly, and Sue Ellen found out they were playing both of them. Jermery, Kimberly, and Sue Ellen got back at JR in typical JR fashion. You know in scenes like this, I loved Sue Ellen. She was strong, she was clever, ,she was confident, and independent. I hated the broke-down Sue Ellen, the one that was weak, the one that was drunk all the time, and the one that was constantly abused, verbally, and emotionally. But in the end, JR of course got back at all of them eventually. But for Sue Ellen, I was pretty proud of her at this moment. You don't be married to JR Ewing, and not have a few tricks up your sleeve LMAO!

Derek Mathews Old Kimberley actually humiliates JR in the next episode (It's the same one where Sue Ellen gets booted off Southfork). Kimberley arrives in JR's office in big coat and to get his attention she takes it off...with nothing on underneath. JR then sets out to get Wendell having found out he bought Cuff Barnes' gas field and that's when he grabs Wendell by the balls and refused to let go until he begged for mercy.

Imagine that, JR getting screwed twice within a year by Jeremy Wendell. And to top it all off, Sue Ellen had a hand in the second part of this. I was so proud of her when she finally triumphed over him and became a strong lady. I was disappointed later on the second series when she went back to drinking. That was awful.

Since the dream revelation, nothing stayed to canon pretty much. The second season is based really on the first series, and not a continuation of it. Heck the 1996 movie was ignored and so was Cliff and Miss Ellie making peace after Dandy tried to kill Cliff. So this is an alternative universe to the original.

It was interesting to see Jeremy Wendell farmed out of Weststar at the beginning of Season 11. After all, he engineered the end of Ewing Oil- wouldn't he be at the top of his game? Then he returns as Chair of Weststar at the end of the season. I fully expected Wendell and JR would lock horns in lots of fierce battles in Season 12, but he disappeared rather quickly.

I really love this season. J.R.'s try to take over the gigant Westar was a real masterpiece (maybe his best plan ever), and it feels to me, that he would have earned the success for it. It seems ridiculous to me how easy they managed to stop him here in the last moment. Gladly Jeremy Wendell was punished soon enough after that; impressive too that J.R. managed to blackmail all former Ewing Oil assets (around one billion) out of Wendell. And in the End, J.R. did get Weststar too. :-)

The next episode is when JR the volcano erupts and JR exacts all fury over Sue Ellen and pulls Wendells pants down and gives him an almighty kicking. It was because JR was 10 yards ahead of him. Wendell thought he was smart buying a gas line. He didn't realise that Barnes didn't own a piece of land that connected it. JR owned the kand and whoever wanted to use it could only do on his say so. That is how he got back the Ewing Oil holdings

It seems like JR started reaping what he sowed in the twilight years of Dallas. In the early years, he always seemed to win in the end. But it seems like he started losing his edge after the dream season. More schemes started blowing up in his face. At this point, he had burned bridges with Sue Ellen, Bobby, his mistresses, the Cartel, and many others. Dallas wasn't the same as we saw JR getting beat more often. But the show wouldn't have been as believable if he hadn't stepped on more rakes. You can do only so much dirty dealing and treating people like disposable tissues before it catches up to you.
