That's not on purpose, that is just the sheer stupidity that these editors are doing these days, happening more and more often and been going on for a while now.. Examples) during press briefings, you can never hear the questions being asked and a lot if times they set the mic right neer a spot where papers and coffees are being slammed down inches from the mic, and/or shoving the mic down their throats so you can hear every breath they take. I remember a time when none if this ever happened..
