StarLink Failed Again

Thank You for watching our videos. The original system and StarLink replacement was with a refurbished system. Well the refurbished system failed as well. StarLink was going to send us another refurbished system. I asked that they not send additional refurbished system. Which they agreed and shipped out a new system.

you used the same stakes I used to hold my dish down. I see you couldn't get them through the stand holes either. I'm trying to find a thinner stake that will hold it down, until I get a pole mount.

Seems like the gen 1 round dishy is much more reliable than the 2nd gen rectangular one.

My apps is saying disconnect. My dish is getting no power. I can’t do anything. I have tired different cords and router but nothing has worked. Any tips ?

If you are plugging into the same outlet. Try a different outlet. I had the issue. When I moved the plug from the top to the bottom. Mind you, this is the same outlet. The system powered up. The top of the outlet had a defect. I tried other devices, and they would not power up. If you are using a power strip. Bypass it and plug directly into the wall outlet. Last, have you tried the trick of plugging and unplugging. Three times for a factory reboot of the router. Good luck, and thanks for watching our videos and for your comment.

Oh man. I’m getting my refurbished dish this week. Mine stopped working about a month ago, just kept saying ensure everything is plugged in. Then just went to offline and searching. Hopefully they fix these bugs soon! Best of luck.

So far this new system appears to be working. Two of our friends received their system the same day we received ours. They have had no issues. The three of us are RV'ers and they have moved to other locations. So far no problem obtaining satellite connection.

If you have no obstructions. Try rebooting by unplugging and plugging back in three times. If your SSID returns to the factory SSID of StarLink the reboot was successful. If not try the reboot again until the StarLink SSID is displayed. Then reset to your SSID, password and turn on the security setting. If you still have the issues submit a support request. If they decide to replace your system. Ask that they not send you a refurbished system. There's no guarantee. Hope it works for you and good luck 🤞
