What a great video! I love your channel and seeing all the work you (and Danny) do for the station. It's a shame the Western Australian government cannot support these station management best practices more.

I still use my gen 2 dish, because the satellite's were I live in SA can change dramatically in orientation. With the gen 3, I constantly have to reorient the dish. The only thing with the gen 2, I have now changed the router to a WIFI 7 replacing the starlink WiFi 5 router. With the old wifi 5 starlink router was getting 180-200, haven't had a chance to run a speed test on new wifi 7 yet but everything seems to be a lot faster.

You could install a quick switch but the driver to shut it off when not in use so doesn't eat your battery!

are you paying for 2 or 3 different services from Starling, or are all of them running on the same account?

400 Mbps, !!! I would be happy to get that anywhere in AUS. Ime on fibre to the node at 50mbps and just upgrades to FTTP where I will get 100mbps. Ime in a major rural city in central Vic. Third world speeds really . People overseas. Must think we’re a backwater when they get here
@Wrench4219 ай бұрын
If you give them more $$ you can get much faster speeds than 100Mbps on fttp. I have between 750 and 900 Mbps currently on HFC (fibre to the node)

I bought basic plan and regular version today , as no 5g and nbn in my granny house i am getting 200 mbps im very happy

Gen 2 is adequate for travel as any who has had only gen 4 Telstra it’s fast as lol . But at home with a family or lots of devices running the faster speed would be nice .
