Nice test josh: As one of the authorized dealers of Starlink kits, i should share digital nomads can efficiently power their Starlink Mini via the car's 12V cigarette port. It's more convenient than portable anker as the alternator will be recharging the car battery - i however recommend a dual battery system, with the second a deep cycle lithium battery as it runs the Starlink longer. Another point is that Starlink Mini is designed to directly run off DC power supply. So, its more power efficient to directly power it off DC output of the bank to save energy - the power adapter does waste some points of power in its conversion.

Livestream has a bit of issues. The standard kit has regular reboots that can cost you 2-3 min. Not sure if the mini may also want adjustments. It's good for home consumption but upload heavy usages you'll be disappointed

Latency is the pain point for me as well. Other than that it’s been pretty good. Some services are slow on their network but faster with VPNs slapped on top. They need to tune the groundstations/routing locally

Speed is atleast 2 times better than MTN turbonet. I use a 3rd party wifi 6 router to further boost the speed to 5 times faster.

The latency is unusable for certain use cases like online gaming etcetera . As for my usage Starlink is stable enough for media consumption and regular internet usage

If you’re asking whether you can use it while in motion, currently you can’t, you could do it on the roaming package but it’s no longer available but yes you can use it in different locations as long as the location isn’t sold out
