After trying a few different mounting ideas I settled with your suction clamp and crab claw solution. I did however have to install a motorcycle cargo net (one of my previous efforts) as my wife wasn’t too keen on it above her head whilst in motion. I suspect ultimately I will print some kind of bracket and mount it in the roof though.

Great videos gave me all i need to know on the accessories and use in my camper. The most annoying think is the UK cost in comparison to European countries. Austria is €349 against £399 in UK. Czech is even cheaper at almost half the price. Monthly cost is €40 for roam and £50 here. Tempted on my trip to Austria in 2 weeks to pop into a store and buy one.

Glad it was helpful! - The pricing can be annoying but think yourself lucky you're not in the US where the price is around £127 per month unlimited. They seem to be doing their prices on how good the coverage of the Satellites are Vs the current 4G/5G coverage of the land mass and to some degree what people are willing to pay.

@@akadayI got the Mini at €350 in Germany. The roam package needs an address so I am on the UK package. I used it on a side window on my T6 down to Austria and it worked 80% of the time.

I don’t understand where it is possible to purchase the disk that fits into the unit? I know nothing about 3D printing. Can we buy these disks from somewhere as none of your mounting solutions can be use without that all important disk.

If you don’t have or know some one with a 3D printer there are lots of services (have a look on eBay) that will print it for you if you send them the file I linked to. Alternatively you can buy a similar item but in metal on Amazon here. amzn.to/3YE2uHS
