One of my favorite films and scene of all time. Filled with love, understanding and tenderness. Why I love so many of the older movies. A lot of today’s stuff stinks. Glad to have grown up in this time. I miss it so much!!!

You must be joking! This is horrifying! If an alien assumed my husband’s form, dead or alive, I’d be outraged for my real husband’s sake that a fake tried to assume his form. Jennie had it originally right when she said “You are not Scott”. If only she had remained wise… yet she didn’t.

We saw Starman at the AMPAS (Oscars) theater on Sunset Blvd at a special unannounced preview in 1983. Wonderful movie! After the movie who was at the lobby greeting everyone ... Lloyd Bridges! He was such a proud father. He asked everyone if we liked it and did we know the Star of the movie was his son?

As a kid I didn't really like this movie but thought those metal ball things were cool. I found a silver ball bearing in my marble collection and right away started pretending I was Starman. Imaginary games like that defined my childhood.

Not mentioned much because i did not do well. Cost $24 mill to make and grossed $28 mill in the USA. I guess an alien movie without monsters and spaceships does not attract a big crowd in those days surrounded by Star Wars/Star Trek/Alien 1-2-3 movies. The force was not with it. ;-) Truly, the budget was so low that we didn't even get to see him being lifted or "transported" up to the ship. Just a close-up of Karen's face as the directer tells her "Keep looking up slowly....More.....More...." That said, I've seen this one several times and once had it on video tape. Very underrated movie.

This picture is one of the best picture I ever have seen in my life and one of the best pictures with the actor Jeff Bridges beneath Nancy Allen.
@dorisbove2210 Жыл бұрын
It's Karen Allen not Nancy Allen seriously what an idiot you are, as are the idiots that are liking in your incorrect comment about the wrong actress, you don't even know the real actress that is in the movie your watching, Why not say it's not Jeff Bridges say is Jeff goldblum. Because they got the same last or first name would you like somebody getting you confused with someone else, and getting credit for someone else's work that doesn't belong to that person, because you have the same first or last name, yeah why don't you say Karen Allen was in Robocop not Nancy Allen since you like to get things incorrect. Because it is someone else in the freaking movie not that person, so get a correct next time, it's not difficult to State the correct person that's actually in the movie.

@@highstimulation2497 some secondary roads coming from Wisconsin, then interstate 80 through Iowa and Nebraska, interstate 76 into Denver, then interstate 70 West of Denver through the Rockies and the mountain tunnels.
