This mission can be difficult due to a lack of a base. It's important to preserve the reinforcements you receive from Able Company otherwise you'll have to rely entirely on the Airborne squads and the AT guns they can drop. I prefer to work along the left hand side of the base and soften up whatever I can before the Sherman Tanks arrive. Also be careful of your units being shot at from weird angles on the main base because apparently elevation doesn't mean much here. Enjoy!

The destruction and use of cover for infantry is what made me love it as a teenager. Still holds up quite well even if some of the updates/patches are questionable.

Alright, back to my commentary... ...Whoa, whoa, whoa... we're going to attack a German superweapon facility?! Also, this is a commando mission?! (As a Medal of Honor and Call of Duty Golden Age gamer, this should be really fun.) 0:06: So much for using the town as a supply base, although taking down that demo team was still worth it. 1:10: (...Sound nearly familiar? Also, thank goodness those V2s were almost ineffective in real life. Mostly duds and anti-bunker weapons, those things.) 1:45: *puts finger on mouth and does a zipped mouth gesture (courtesy from a girl named Wendy)* Taking command. May we wish ourselves luck. 3:10: Seize that AA! Awesome! Eat your own lead, Nazis! 6:46: Gate's ours, here we go. 8:32: One less tower and AA for us to worry about. 10:00: Enemy depot is on our hands. Good work. 12:00: Five minutes before the cav-take down that AA and tower! 14:30: Less than 3 minutes before the cavs arrive. Good, got that position too, and we've been given an Air Recon plane to check on the situation. 16:10: You heard him. Also, one minute left. 17:20: Here's Able. Alright, you, listen up... 18:18: Woo-hoo! Drop more of our guys at these coordinates! 19:18: Took that long enough. We need better mortars after this is done. 20:30: Good... they're sending us a P-47 to do strafing runs. Understood... take down that Komandant, people! 22:15: More reinforcements are inbound, and believe me, they better be mechanized. 24:35: Same old, same old. 25:12: Oxys now planted, and we have a Strategic Point on our hands and fortified. 25:47: Beautiful. Alright, I gotta take a breather and keep an eye on the gate. 27:40: Another AA down. Reinforcements are here and I just called it. AT Drop on standby. 29:50: Another AA already? 31:15: Lost a bunch of men and our best mortars... how are they bombing us?! Mallory, mark up the captures. Getting tired of that. 34:50: Another AA neutralized. 35:48: Down another one of those things. 37:15: We're pushing them down! Also, got permission to use up some of Command's best. That's fine, I think we got this all covered. Mechs, fall back, we got anti-armors! 44:00: That's one lucky Sherman. 44:30: UNLEASH BULLET HELL ON THAT KOMMMANDANT!!! *And now, for the fireworks. Awesome work there, Ables and Airborne!*

Even without a base..or perhaps because of it? I dunno..but for me this is one of the most interesting and etertaining missions to watch in the entire game. I think it's because of the lack of reinforcements making you move in a very strategic and purposeful way (not that you didn't already..but I dunno, maybe I just like exploding towers, eh) :P

...You called it, SM. Not only is there a Company of Heroes 3, but also the fact that the game appears to be initially set in the Italian front of WW2. Hope that and Age of Empires IV will become great successes to compensate for Dawn of War III.

@@arajamuffin I recall half-orc being especially good for fighters since you can start with 19 strength. Paladin is also pretty good given their disposition and abilities. What race and type of fighter are you struggling with?

The V2 rocket's didn't do a lot of damage in the war but if they used uranium in those V2 rocket's they'd probably be highly deadly basically the germans would have won the war if they weren't into their mass genocidal ways they'd been the first to invent the atomic bombs first they'd probably use them on Moscow and Paris if they were successful and they'd have more troopers in the war if they weren't killing Jewish people and other's as well that's just a theory tho
