Thanks for the upload with English subtitles. RESPECT to all who fought the fascists and those who continue the fight from east Tennessee, USA.

What I enjoy about these 'Spies Must Die' series is the 'humor'! There is a great deal of funny stuff mixed in with all the seriousness! The writers, producers and directors really show some unique characters throughout! I love it!

I am an Eastern German, born in the GDR. I never learned Russian at school, since we had English from 1990 on. But I grew up amongst Soviet and Eastern people and always loved Russian and other Slavic languages. We're more similar to them than to Western Germans. So I watch this kind of film to learn a bit of Russian, and enjoy it, of course. Большое спасибо за вашу выдающуюся работу!

As an Australian, mostly having got used to Yankee melodramatic trash, these Russian war movies/series are amazing. However, why are the Russian to English translations always so terrible? If the translators could get this stuff right, I am sure these fantastic Russian programs would get a huge cult following!!!

The translations should be done by native speakers of the translation language. Russians should translate English-speaking movies and native English speakers Russian movies. It is understood that both should know their foreign language well enough to either translate or fill in with equivalent expressions all immediately non-translatable terms/expressions. I agree that were the subtitles properly done these programs would acquire a cult following.

The tank in the water, at the beginning of the show, has a cross on it. Is that a Russian military symbol on the tank? I'm unfamiliar with it.

Tell me how an engineer (ie., "train driver") could derail the train even if he wanted to. There is a steering wheel? No. There is a big red button that says "Derail Button"? No. All he has is a steam valve (or comparable device on a diesel) or brakes. That's it. So tell me how he could derail a train. So he "sees his son on the tracks" all he can do is brake. That's all. Silliness.

Not sure if I'm watching a serious show or a comedy. Some of these characters are over the top slapstick. Sorry, but this mix of serious/slapstick is not working...
