As an ex Merseyside Police officer I can confirm that his property would have been secured as a scene immediately after arrest. A forensic team would have been deployed almost straight away and a full search completed with, a maximum of, 72 hours due to detention rules laid out in PACE. They would have needed as much evidence as possible as early as possible for the purpose of interview and ongoing custody requests. So, the only reason to withhold this information, as far as I can see, would be political or as a result of political pressure from government. They cannot claim it was to prevent disorder as that already happened and it appears that the fears behind this violence were well founded, although he violence itself was not justified. I am utterly disgusted that the badge I once wore with pride has been so utterly degraded by politicians and woke activists that now run Merpol and the UK government 🤬

And what of Starmer labelling the accused “rioters” as criminals before the trial - this is speculation of the worst kind, placing a very heavy thumb on the scales of justice while insisting upon disproportionate sentencing.
