I agree. There was a distinct change in the number of caught passes in this game, which caused a huge improvement in the flow of plays being competently executed. It was enough that the Fever managed to beat a higher-ranked team in an away game. That's not only going to be a major confidence booster for the team, it's also going to help a great deal with play-chemistry improving among the players.

Caitlin Clark Until stumbling over a news item, I had less than no interest in women's basketball, at any level. . One Second of seeing CC-22 impersonating Stephen Curry hooked me! The second second and I realized Caitlin Clark wasn't copying anybody! . Because what I know is based on clips showing her shooting half-court 3-pointers and making magical passes, reminiscent of Magic Johnson to Kareem when everyone in the stadium and home in front of their television KNEW the Sky-Hook was coming and nobody could stop it, I see patterns where the playing style of CC-22 is changing the team. Boston figured out that all she has to do is get below the basket, stick out a mitt and the basketball would appear in it. . Anyway, I think she is playing perfectly, playing her game and letting the team adjust to things like having a pass actually come to them, and supporting each others play. I think I see a team in name becoming a team in practice.

When that's necessary to stop fights you should just shut the whole thing down and start over. And the defensive player just protect themselves from being blindsided. Like what happened a few games ago where Clark didn't know about the double screen and took her face to the chest of one of the opposite team players.

If this league game was so great why was no one watching it before for decades? You've had Taurasi Griner swoopes Lopes countless other women of all colors & abilities yet it takes Clark to actually bring the fan base with her. Just a joke. the game last year was not nearly this paced it was just like the nba games where everyone especially supposed stars would literally just walk up & down the court nothing exciting at all. THat's changed with Clark & the rest of the other energetic rookies coming into the league which is why the older players like taurasi & griner hate the rookies because now the older players have to actually work & play.

Some was talking about the game and what Caitlin actually brings to the Fever other than a 3 point shooter? How about gravity when it comes to offense. Caitlin steps on the court and the defensive team makes crazy adjustments. Blitzes, double team, triple team, full court press you name it. What all of this does is just free a bunch of Caitlin's teammates for shots.....they need to understand they have to get down court as fast as they can because Cailin's coming and she's going to smash you in the face with a pass. Get with it.

You can tell that a lot of her fellow players that didn't like her right away, are realizing that she's not only got some amazing skills and potential, but actually a cool person too. You're seeing a lot more love from her opponents than you saw a month ago. They are appreciating that she isn't, in fact, a hype machine and smoke and mirrors. She's taken a hazing, and just keeps coming with a smile on her face. She's for real, has nothing but respect for her fellow players in the league, and this is only the very, very beginning for her.

What a joke. it's one thing if she saw Taurasi cut for the gap maybe trying for a pass & a layup or something & moves in & in moving in cuts off Taurasi or collides with Taurasi but it's Taurasi that collided. Why is this different then when someone goes to make a block or a screen & gets in position then its a foul on the charging player when this is basically the same thing the fever player moves yes but is planted in position before Taurasi tries to run her over but fails.
