Well, these were 6” cakes to start and I cut them down to 5” rounds, so it would probably be a little less time than if you were baking them in 5” pans. However for these they took between 25-30mins at 335F. Hope this helps and is easy to understand.

Oh, this was just a tiny cake. I think I used two batches or my easy buttercream recipe (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXKYlKWghsSsf5Y) and it was a bit too much, so more like 1.5 I’d say.

@@KameKazuFace if you’re talking like 3 layers I’d go with 2 maybe even 2.5 batches. I had lemon filling for between my layers so if you’re going all buttercream you’ll need more for sure.

American buttercream with a 50/50 ratio of unsalted butter and shortening. I also use water instead of milk or cream to keep it low on dairy.
