I loved adventure forward when it came out, i'm glad that this group is trying to make a successor! the movement looks really fun

there is a faster way to do the canyon conservatory start: if you long jump and the end of the bridge and spam jump, the player will be able to jump on the water without getting teleported back

You can skip the speed boost fragment collecting in concattia ruins with a spring roll

You can skip getting the jump boost at the end of canyon controversy by doing that as well

It's a secret move called the spring roll. When you dive in the air, you can continue holding the action button down until you hit the ground, which causes the Star Child to do a roll. During this roll, a brief particle effect and audio cue will play, at which point you can jump to perform the spring roll. The timing for this feels precise at first but it doesn't take long to commit to muscle memory.

Bruh i struggled enough on mount awesome I don't think i wanna go through it again let alone basically flawlessly in 2 minutes 😭 did enjoy the demo tho so might try speedrun the other levels instead update: My stubbornness got the best of me and i somehow did all the time trials including mount awesome again 💀. Very excited for the full release... whenever that happens

how do you do that waterworks skip at the beginning... i can't seem to replicate it

Oh, I think it may have been patched already because I can't do it anymore either. It was a glitch that I found by accident, performed by landing on that part of the level, teleporting back to the beginning, and then immediately falling in the pit to be teleported there. It only shaved a few seconds off of the in-game time so I don't think you need to obey that part of my route in order to easily beat the developer time.

I think Mount Awesome is less of an "ultimate difficulty obby" and more or so a troll obby. The amount of times where I just don’t know what to do is literally insane. I didn’t even know how to do the special move that mount awesome is all about. And the part before the final stretch should’ve had WAY MORE CHECKPOINTS. I literally get past the underwater section, and then when I roll out, I’m just thinking "DARN YOU DEVS!!!!!".

Someone interviewed the lead dev and they said it's because they hated the games on the front page and felt they were soulless. So they made this game and decided they'd finish it, no matter how little popularity or traction it would get
