I can't understand how someone can't experience a feeling of transcendence when listening to Viva la Vida or Charlie Brown. That doesn't make those people fucking idiots. There is no objectivity to musical taste (or any tastes, really - that's why they're tastes). The value of a musical piece is not known to be anything more than an aesthetic response to sequences of sounds with certain properties. It's chocolate or vanilla shit. I happen to like this music. OMG i had 4gotten just how fab these were. Just popped back in my radar and have been playing their albums....should have gotten more recognition. The piano, guitar and drums work so perfectly with James' vocals which are as perfect as they were back in the day. Gonna b on my playlist now!!!!!
