I played the tutorial on a side save and the only thing I noticed that was a big divergence was the addition of the Ancyra Research Facility in the Galatia system. Unless I missed a MAJOR lore drop the first few times I played through the game, visiting there before you open the gate gives you some hushed messages about just how bad the person who broke the gate screwed up and some context for on planet riots. How has the black market been made riskier, exactly? I still buy/sell almost exclusively from them and haven't gotten in any real trouble
@AsherGames3 жыл бұрын
I think I kind of overestimated it starting out, however, eventually if I keep trading as I have been I do get more inspection patrols following me and wanting to search me. It does become more frequent. And then sometimes they'll "scan" your ships and then damage one of your ships if they don't find anything. It's easily repaired, just annoying.
@gabriel70373 жыл бұрын
@@AsherGames I've had that one too, it was cool having an interaction that wasn't just an NPC going "I'm slightly angry now". Maybe I'm getting lucky though, sure I'm getting scanned a lot, but nothing bad comes from it
@spartan4563 жыл бұрын
@@gabriel7037 Late to the party, but I haven't noticed any weird changes with the black market either. I've traded enough harvested organs to repopulate entire colonies and not a single peep from any patrols. I'm pretty sure it's actually identical to the way it used to be. The only time patrols ever gave me any crap in the previous version is if I accidentally traded on the black market while the transponder was on, or if I got caught by a patrol who ran into me while my transponder was off. The likelihood and frequency of patrols intercepting you is directly proportional to your suspicion. Trading on the black market with the transponder on instantly raises suspicion, and the more transactions you perform, the higher the suspicion goes. Getting caught with your transponder off does the same thing. Higher suspicion, higher chances of being stopped or intercepted by patrols. When I was still new to the whole game I would frequently get caught with my transponder off, so I remember constantly dodging patrols (because I was already suspicious just by virtue of being stopped so many times with the space equivalent of a broken tail light). But I eventually got really good at figuring out the best ways to time when you shut it off and when you turn it on, and I guess I still remember how best to do it because I haven't had to deal with any patrols at all so far.

Games improperly named, should be called supply sector as a large part of the start game is just running missions to get supplies so you can have enough supplies to go and grind more supplies
@AsherGames3 жыл бұрын
Resource management is definitely something that you get used to at the start. If you feel like you're burning too many supplies early, definitely park some of your bigger ships at an abandoned space station so that you can give yourself some breathing room. You can run exploration missions with a very lightweight fleet, or you can flip goods between planets to build up a cash stockpile early on. Both strategies are viable and shouldn't put TOO much of a strain on a lightweight fleet's supply count.

Jesus dude, your audio is terrible. Watch your levels. That intro was ear bleed.

It's weird. I don't know if I'm just listening to things differently or have things set differently but I don't usually get complaints about my audio anymore since I got a new microphone last year and did work to make sure that when I was streaming the audio and game volume were balanced enough. But when I do get complaints, it's binary. It's either things are fine or things are awful and ear crushing. I still haven't found a setting that works for everyone, and it isn't helped when I have to use something like WebEx for work and it automatically sets the gain on my mic to 100. That's not what happened here though. Pretty sure what happened here was that I was excited because I just happened to catch the new update drop while I had an hour window to record between finishing work early and picking up my kids from school. My settings hadn't changed from when I been recording my old Starsector series. I was just louder than normal. Sorry it ended up falling into the ear stabbing spectrum for you.

Até 2030 sai a versão 1.0, está pior que Game of Thrones.
