Mayasura is A Tier if you start a playthrough as them. Since you start in Free Start you don't really see how amazing a Mayasura playthrough is if you start as them. You basically start owning Mairaath. While you may think starting with a Colony is overpowered. Remember that Mayasura is at war with the Hegemony (and this cannot be changed, the modder has coded them to always be Hostile to one another). Also Mairaath starts in a very weak state. They barely have any industries and no defenses and your system has Pirates and Tri-Tachyon (which you also don't get along with) meaning you will have to survive their raids. Add mod factions and you will suddenly realize that 80% of the mod factions also don't have good relations with you (Diable and Kingdom of Terra are also Hostile to Mayasura) In fact Mayasura playthrough is probably the hardest playthrough you can have in Starsector. Specially because for you to get enough income to develop Mairaath you need to leave the system and fight bounties. But leaving the system puts you at risk of getting wiped out.

i run around 120-130 mods and then i have about 20 extra that are only for me (custom stuff) and i have like 4-5min load time lol

Pretty similar to my own, although I do have "Foundation of Borken" and recently added "Yuri Expedition" the former has great ship and mechanic design/playability with an added storage feature. I highly recommend! The Later... Well I like missiles... But despise that except for your starting ships you cannot buy ANY Yuri Expedition ships without D-Mods.

Thanks for parsing the mods I think that - Blackrock should take the place of Tier S-A (very cool mod) as well as New Galaxy Order A Tier (Also a cool mod, I'm waiting for a review on it)

Black Rock .... was a hard decision ... but it went down with that the AI cannot pilot them ... And that is a big part of a game ... cannot give it an A for me if I cannot have them inside my fleet

Vayras ship pack/Sector is amazing definetly deserves A tier at least. Also it's compatible with Nexerelin and more content is always welcome. Also Aleph Ascendancy :D Third AI war here we go!

Missing Ships, Vayra's Ships, Tahlan Shipworks, Hazard Mining, Vayra's Sector, Underworld, and Dassault-Mikoyan increases overall treacherousness of the sector as a whole by giving more ships to renegade and derelict factions. More so when Underworld's Starlight Cabal sets up ambushes near jump points of core worlds specifically for the player. Blade Breakers in Dassault-Mikoyan and Anarakis Reparations Society perform random raids though ARS can be made allies. I kept Diable every run for being the only faction to bomb colonies into ash as their first option. And Wanzers. Always wanzers. And Dassault-Mikoyan and Tahlan if I want to see mechs fly out of carriers en masse like I'm some leader of Zeon (and throw in Blackrock Vespa Bombers for shock-and-awe). I use Starship Legends and Skill Up exclusively for giving fleet building flavor, though with the skill system overhaul on next version...

In my opinion, Junk pirates are A tier or better, since the game for them provides a better experience than for pirates, since junk pirates have more balanced and diverse ships, although relatively weak, as well as more often missions and clearer progress.

The speed mode is addicting. When i play now at normal speed looks to me like slow motion. Playing with conquest x2 time speed time is fantastic !! .

Very noice vid bro ! I think you should try the Appro-light mod some of the ships are pretty op but it's well made ! If you don't wanna be spoiled of the appro-light "remnants" don't continue reading So in the Appro-light mod there is an enemy to the appro light called immortal light, its a bit like remnants but appro light style. I fought a big detatchement of these, and boi it was hard. Because at the end after destroying all the op ships there is a more op ship that you need to destroy. i think it was called a higgs class temporal cruiser or something, so why is this thing op ? The ship as it self isn't it's a good capital. But it's its ability it can make clones of it self those clones makes arc that deal damage and its damage increases with each copy, cherry on the top it can ABSORB the image to regain hull hp and it costs no flux to do it. So after dealing with an army of smaller op ships, your low combat ships must kill a ship that can regain like 1/10 of its hull health per image it has integrated. Basically my 3 conquest with lvl 20 captain were not dealing enough damage and one of the conquest was one from the terraforming mod wich gives you a op captain and op conquest. You have to have fresd capitals to kill it, and remember you had to destroy a wole army of op ships before you faced it. And i saw with the starship legends mod(btw it deserve it's S rank) that my forces were like 400 and the enemy 1200. And in terme of loot i got 2 gamma beta and alpha cores and also alot of other stuff. And sorry for bad english I'm not a native english speaker.

@@Uran92 THI is so much more than just another pile of ships and weapons Uran, it adds the retrofitting submarket which enables entire new gameplay styles, a short early game quest (more to come later), and custom fleet types that Do Things that create interesting encounters both in core space and out in the boonies.

Yea, I did see mining fleets that spawn without Nex (that's a custom rig I assume), something called survey fleet that was going to survey a planet; there's probably more than that. EDIT: Oh yea! I forgot about mercenaries - they escort fleets of factions THI is friendly to, orbit jump points to systems with friendly faction presence and there's probably more interactions, but I probably didn't see everything.

Legacy is a cool idea, but the ships are weak as all hell, cool and unique but weak. Thier capital is the size of a heavy cruiser. But the fact they have a mobile base with an actual mooving jump gate is mind blowing for me. And them being these high tech terrorists with actual leadership makes them one of the most unique factions lore wise.

awn, fuck always wanted to do it but always nice to see the tought of other player and there is a mod that i see u don't looked on it already, its frindge syndicate, its a lot of really good looking ship (and not really balanced at all) and don't forget, if everything is unbalanced, everything will be good against everything sure consol command is really good to see all the ship and test them at all limit, but never, JUST never, try to give u all ship at single time, because.... its give part of ship and it crash the game if u don't have a good computer man totaly do it, a tier list of different ship from each mod would be sick, there is not a lot of player that really know if the ship are good or not only by looking at stat, and some help will always be good

@@Uran92 it adds a whole bunch of crap, poorly sprited ships with no design thought that clog up markets and fleets so it’s more difficult to find stuff that had actual effort put in. Also, 20 bay carrier. Literally the most broken thing since Console Commands godmode.

@@brilobox2 to fix missing ships, i just edit the ship.csv and make the redundant ships base_bp, and the kinda decent ones midline_bp or lowtech_bp. Even the 2 Capitals i just make them into midline_bp. Just leaving Ragnarok, Pelagornis and Nagato as rare_bp. Also i remove the unboardable tag so you at least get a taste of the Dreadnoughts. Doing this fixes this mod a lot IMO. As for poor sprites, its that modders first mod, so i give it a pass. Just like Tiandong is updating the sprites i expect this guy to update the sprites for Missing ships in the future.

so how balanced are these faction mods compared to the vanilla? and can the ai take advantage of them? i hate mods like the skill one thats just basically a cheat.

Well all the content mods are fine ... some things in them might be too strong ... that falls on you if you gonna use them or not

@@operator9858 You are bad at judging balance. Vanilla is less well balanced than most (only MOST) mods. Otherwise whats the point when the godmode command exists. Ones to avoid: SW2020 Approlight XLU/Blue Missing Ships (like the plague) Pulse Industries

The problem with Nexerlin mod is that it doesn't fit with the identity of the game. The hub worlds are supposed to be a safe-ish place for you to restock. Going back to them to find out that the Hegemony wants your head and killed every other faction to do so is the opposite of safe-ish

yeah i agree both of you. without it game tastes too vanilla and less competitive, nexerlin adds some souce to the game but at the same time damages that balanced state that factions have at the start. not to mention its not very lore friendly though most mods are not very lore friendly imo.
