I have a feeling this was actually the first one they filmed and decided to release it later to grab people with the better rooms, to not lose viewers.

I can't believe the rooms are custom made.. I mean assumed so, but in this episode she confirmed it. A room like this requires renting or making a shitload of (really high quality) props; testing at least a dozen of times, and at different stages in development - especially hitting the right amount of content for 30 mins. would take a lot of tweaking. I can't imagine the resources going into this, and then it's all just for that one playthrough?

Hmmmm this one was easy compared to the other ones... of course they got out quickly, puzzles were pretty straight forward
@alexblake53697 жыл бұрын
Except for the 4 dot puzzle. That one seems like a pretty strong leap in logic that they all need to place a hand on a dot. They should have put some kind of riddle or clue for it to give players a better chance of figuring it out.
@Ceruleanst7 жыл бұрын
Yes, that was completely arbitrary. What's worse, it appeared early and there was no indication of the difference between "this thing does nothing yet" and "you can do something with this now." I suspect that they feel their formula requires the guests yell "Helping Hand!" in every episode and this was their way of forcing it to happen.

is it just me, or was there no red herring in this one? It didn't seem like there was much to distract them from the main puzzles. And also, a lot of the other room has had a final puzzle in the egress zone; the last group would have made it if not for the Fibonacci sequence puzzle at the very end.

this room is significantly easier than the others, but still a great series!
@PuissantPike7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that was easy and dumb. I dunno how the Critical Role peeps got railed with an impossible room, but these guys get a simplistic, sequential room that uses the same gemstones for three different stages AND no red herrings? That's weak.
@Elheru427 жыл бұрын
This is exactly what we compare each episode to as well. The Critical Role team had clues that had almost limitless answers and no real way of working it out. These guys need to get the CR team back on to have another go with a room that is winnable.
@Yehnsei7 жыл бұрын
Very true.
@ryanphan62217 жыл бұрын
69th like lol
@DakonBlackblade27 жыл бұрын
I believe they judged the CR team being a group of ppl with a game oriented mind would be better than average and giving them an easy room would be a bit dumb. And tbh they were rigth, the CR team was 1 move away from victory in a room thats way harder than the show average, so if they were on the average show room theyd've demolished it.
@DakonBlackblade27 жыл бұрын
It was definetly winable but there were some very screwed up things, like having vochal chords for the potion, have a clue that was "sing" and then say it wasn't the vochal chords...
