A very informative and entertaining video. I had no idea that there were going to be larva in the film. Hope you guys get hired to do the remake. It would be cool to see the arachnids portrayed as described in the books. I'd also like to see "the skinnies."

Alec, some of my favourite DVD commentaries are yours and Tom's on the Alien and AvP movies, Informative, humorous and always entertaining, so it's really great to get more of that kind of long-form content from you. I do an impression of you, it mostly consists of using the words 'larval' and 'exoskeleton' repeatedly!

Fantastic Work! Love every moment of this movie. Sounds like a missed opportunity not connecting with that porno crew! Could have begun a new genre revolution.

Those drop ships aren't very aerodynamic and would mostly likely burn up upon entry but for the film sake there alot easier to build the drop ships and the container under neath reminds me of the skycrane !

I can’t see enough BTS videos of this movie, it’s SOOOO interesting seeing these beautifully crafted giant animatronic models, such a shame it’s becoming a lost art to CGI now, tho you can see why, way safer, cheaper and easier, tho IMO they really need to get more real world physics into CGI, cuz too often now it looks real but only if it doesn’t move much

Frankly i dont like CGI...if i were a filmmaker ill always go with practical effects...you guys should make tutorials on practical effects,make ups etc so that enthusiastic young minds like would learn and make something great out of it...thank you
@Hokunin5 жыл бұрын
CGI these days is getting more and more refined and lifelike, you can do many things that are impossible with puppet dolls. Practical effects are dying if not already dead, cuz I believe sometimes they could be more costly than quickly rendered CGI, not to mention not eco friendly.
