I just started learning Spanish by using Duolingo and i actually understood like 40% of this story already just by reading the Spanish subtitles. This is a good beginner story for people who just started learning.

Oh this is awesome! I just spent 5 weeks in Argentina. I've been using duolingo for 5 years to learn Spanish. I felt so lost because everyone speaks so fast. I didn't know all of the words in this but the spanish subtitles helped me understand pretty much every statement. Definitely will be watching all videos on this channel!

I’ve also been using Duolingo for sometime but when someone speaks I can’t get what they are saying, so I decided to switch to having a Spanish teacher. I’ve been learning for a month now and i think I’m getting better at hearing.

Duolingo is pretty much useless. You're wasting your time. You can study on Duolingo for the rest of your life, and you will never learn Spanish.

Undeniably a great lesson for beginners! I'm actually a native Mexican though , nevertheless this video may come in handy someday . This lesson is a thorough bargain! Spanish is a commonly-spoken language , thereby it'd be a blessing for you to learn this superb language . Thus learning this language is by far a great instance for daily work . @@SpanishWave I don't recall a single bit what I commented on this video , but for your information , it’s the other way around but I do, an obscene amount of my English comes from videos , people find it praiseworthy , I do have English classes in my school , but more than half of my English as I stated beforehand comes from videos , they aren't similar such as this one , I actually just watch infamous KZbinrs whose content may be helpful , pleasant and enjoyable . I can recommend the Michel Thomas method for understanding the structure of Spanish, backing it up with Pimsleur and Duolingo for reading. Finally, listening to spoken Spanish (like here) adds the finishing touches. Michel Thomas was amazing for me. I also have Paul Noble Spanish but he's just copied Michel Thomas and MT is better.

I actually caught that, too and questioned whether I was translating it correctly. So I went to Google Translate which of course translates it as READ which can be pronounced either way. I'm so glad I'm not learning English. 😁
