As someone who has played eve on and off since 2010 most people over-complicate things in eve, to speed tank and to get under a ships guns they will break out a calculator and figure out minimum speed at different ranges for common meta fits where in practice for 99% of players it's just get close and orbit at high speed.

Good vid, covered all the basics including salvage. Only real difference from my Venture is instead of the 2 astro rigs I use a shield rig for one, field extender for slightly more AFK tank.

@@aaronstillwell9492 always stay aligned and listen for the squawk. Then decide either recall drones or just warp. A Merlin isn't cutting through my shield tank quickly. A battleship could but why risk Concord's wrath.

What's your suggestion when you are minning in a low sec system and someone randomly comes to kill you? What I always do is to keep my ship aligned to where I want to warp to escape, together with this afterburner trick (Turning it off to warp faster), but sometimes it doesn't work, do you have some tips that I should keep in mind? I'm new in this game and some terms are complicates for me to understand 😄

i gotchu the easy answer is: you need to find a low sec system that is less busy or not owned by a big corp since you are new, I recommend you join a LS corp so they can help show you the ropes!! would be a great experience
