Hey hi.. there are students who did that.. you can start your self preparation and see how you are performing in your test series and also check if you are able to solve pyqs to a good amount if yes then go ahead with the self prep. Other wise I would suggest to go for a course. Because they curate topics and qsns according to gate trends you can also get one to one guidance. If you want my suggestion I would suggest GO classes

See pyqs and test series are enough. Any other resources also use pyqs as reference. You can also visit gate overflow website and download their pdf of qsns and answers.

Hey hi, I in the whole video I talked about that only.. what should be your preparation steps and all.. first figure out if you can do self study.. if yes then start looking out for gate syllabus online and prepare topic wise. You can search for particular topic in youtube.. otherwise buy a good course you can buy it with your friends also.. I can sugges GO classes.. they have a good success rate

i mean see if you think you are able to comprehend others notes you can go for it. but make sure you make your short notes out of it. whatever you understood. idea of note making is just for people to better remember or recall whatever they have studied.

Hi dee i started preparation from first year but not that with good consistency , even before starting my btech i knew i want to study in iitb as it was my dream before , right now on 29th august i am completed with compiler design , dld , dbms and c programmming and now doing toc , os , cn parallaly as they are going with this semesters subjects , dee i want you to be with me for my journey , i think i need your guidance as i proceed forward with syllabus.I already scheduled nov to be start of test series and more question practice .my college is in pune so i have to commute for 1.5 hr for classes so i shifted to online mode . thank you guiding for me and will communicate with you after every video . again thank you dee i got more clearity from this video.

Hi somesh... Its good that you are preparing from start..but even if you prepare after your second year completes that also enough..and you can do pyqs..but i think left test series for the last year of gate..because that would be more effective... Also focus on developing skills in your BTech

Hey hi, if you are currently working and want to prepare for gate in parallel so I would suggest go for A online lecture course.. because otherwise you wont be able to cover all the syllabus by yourself.. you can but you will have to do extra effort.. you wont have any idea about how you should consume your time.. because online lecture m kya hota hai ki apke paas content hota hai poora hours m.. aap divide krr skte hain use ki kitne samay m apko poora krna hai.. also sara syllabus compressed ek jagah p mil jayega bhatkna nahi pdega.. if you ask for my suggestion I will suggest go classes or I dont know Ravindra babu ravula sir n bhi youtube m free m dal diya hai.. agar unhone poora syllabus dal diya hai toh wel and good prr agar abhi poora nahi dla hai toh koi course lelo

see august is almost complete .. there are 10 subjetcs in gate cs excluding aptitude. with this pace you will be done with all the subjects till december. i always suggest students to get done with notes making till october so that you will have complete 3 months for only practicing qsns giving test series solving pyqs and revising. atleast try to complete all subjects by november. and give more time to problem solving then. dont ever assume completing syllabus is enough for cracking gate with good score

Last 10 to 15 tears will give you good enough idea of gate CS pattern.. if you can solve 30 that's roo good

Zeal academy is also very good ..they have offline coaching in indore and they also teach online if i am not wrong you can check their... And how can you forget GATE overflow... They also have started their course.. you can surely try their demo classes..get in touch with them..and ask them about it

See i would suggest try to give atleast 4 hour to studies to cover lecture that pace will good enough and you'll be left with solving pyqs and revision for the next year.. this is my estimate if you can give more time some days that's good

i would reccomend you to utilize your btech first 2 years in gaining as many skills as possible .. exploring different technologies and for that matter different fields. and then after your second year if you really want to do your masters.. then also you will have enough time to prepare for gate. and also prepare yourself for placements.

I dont think there is any need to take any other teacher's class..until you dont understand rbr sir's lectures.. and lectures are not sufficient to crack gate you have to do a lot of pyqs and test series

Now I know that I have to focus more on solving pyqs and practice more....But even after knowing..I am unable to implement it.At the end of the day..I find myself spending more time on lectures only...Do you have any solution to this. @@gatein2828 this is the mistake i did in my first attempt... If you don't understand any topic don't get stuck at it.. once finish all the lectures and then focus on solving pyqs.. you'll learn techniques to solve diff qsns. You can also check gate overflow website for any doubt in any qsn

Hii Sneha, I'm doing a service based job..and almost frustrated with it.. as I'm very passionate towards computer science.. and learning..but i have a drawback of being on average side on Mathematics.. just wanted to ask can i go for Gate/Mtech? will i be able to survive it? and also make a detailed video on your.. initial mtech experience, we feel demotivate a lot.. when we hear from you people that mtech life is really hactic and cumbersome.. is it, that much undoable and hactic regarding those assignments and all? what skills it requires to complete.. on what area we can start working on from now itself so that it will be helpful for those assignments too in future in Mtech?

hi.. actually we found MTech from IISc on tougher side because we had never taken any course seriously in BTech. and assignments in BTech were also just copying from each other. no body was dead serious about assignments or for that matter exams. here studying one day before exam is almost hopeless.. you have to keep up with the courses. but then again almost every student feels the same. so you wont be alone. and every body eventually learn to cope up with it. I thought its important to mention that MTech is not going to be a cake walk from tier1 college so that like us student will not be delusional about it and they mentally prepare themselves for it. we dont intend to demotivate any body. atlast if i can do it i think any average student can do it.
