It's so interesting watching you make a journal from scratch. That lace is the perfect touch on the inner spine, not feminine at all and the tea stain makes it lean more toward masculine. I love the way you incorporated the old cover of the book and the red gingham behind it brings out the red in the cover. I love the crocheted lace on the front coming to a point. The way you put the name plate on it almost looks like an old fashion ornament. : )

You could also use some grosgrain ribbon for a man ; stripes or checks . ? Thin flannel ; just a narrow mini strip . You might consider getting a drimel drill for situations like the thick chip board .

Another great episode. Just an idea that you could put a coffee cup on your desk so you can put your glue in it upside down.
@gayleagostinelli_ct6 жыл бұрын
CJ, yes! I actually do that with my Aileens glue. The FabriTac is tricky because if it's upside down, it flows out too fast. Actually really good to lay it on its side, but I never remember to do that! Thanks for watching, my friend! Hugs! ❤️

Love this and love watching you create! I made a junk journal with thin cardboard, which I covered with fabric and then realized I wanted to put a book plate on the front cover, so I put brads through the holes of the book plate and glued the book plate down with E6000 and it held extremely well. TFS!
