This is the first start up of my solar system, after Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Maria. I know this is not an ideal setup, but there was a shortage of materials, so bear with me.
The system is composed of a Schneider SW 2524 Inverter, a Schneider MPPT 60 150 Charge Controller and the Schneider Conext-SCP.
The energy was stored in 16 Absorbent Glass Mat battery's, each of them where 12 volts @ 42.5 amp-hours connected in 8 parallel strings, each having 2 battery's in series for a total of 24 volts @ 340 amp-hours equal to 8160 watts-hours.
At the roof there where 6 solar panels, each rated at 260 watts for a total of 1560 watts. The configuration was 2 strings in parallel, each having 3 solar panels in series, for a maximum Voltage Open Circuit of 90 volts @ 18 amps.

This is an excellent setup considering the ordeal you have been through with the hurricane, and it being an unexpected/sudden expense. I hope it is still working well for you, and that your situation in PR continues to improve!

Schneider YIKES!!! I have installed a few 24v Conext. Firmware is glitchy and wiring was for those with small hands and perfect vision...lol

my system came online three weeks before Irma and also maria. I have upgraded to two sw 4024 and two midnite solar classic 150 running two strings of panels for a total of 4300 watts. I upgraded tp two tesla 200 24volt batteries in parallel for a 400 amp hour bank and switch back to grid when i need to at night and is backed up with a Yahama 3000 inverter generator.

Excellent! Since that's a grid-interactive inverter, you can consume as much of solar as possible before importing power from the grid. Since electricity is so expensive (and unreliable) in PR, you'll save a bunch. You're probably aware of all of this but if you haven't read that part in the manual yet, you can set how many amps the inverter will supply to your home vs bringing in from the grid, no need to turn the grid off. If/when your batteries are low, the inverter will automatically switch to all grid. I think they call it "enhanced grid support". Because you're not exporting anything to the grid, no hookup permits should be required. Good job on your installation. You can probably help your neighbors do the same and make a buck or two while doing it. Not a lot of people can figure this out as you did.

@@juannieves4346 Configure the Conext SCP? You're probably asking how you configure the inverter and in that case, the user's manual (in Spanish also) is listed here: solar.schneider-electric.com/product/conext-system-control-panel-scp/

@@juannieves4346 My Spanish, especially written, is terrible. There's a lot more to know about your setup than can be discussed with a simple KZbin comment. It is not trivial and requires careful thought and planning. See if you can contact Jomel, owner of this channel, as he figured it out. That said, the SCP is just the display of the main inverter. Depending on what model inverter you have (off or on grid), you will have to configure it differently. Typically, you will use your inverter to charge a battery bank and the battery bank feeds the inverter to make 120/240V AC. Battery voltages vary depending on inverter/charger model, typically 12, 24 or 48V DC nominal. Tackle it in parts. First, make a UPS for your home. That is: connect the batteries to the inverter and the inverter to the grid. The batteries will be charged from the grid in that setup. If grid power goes out, your batteries will keep you running. Once that's done, connect your solar panels via a solar charge controller and that will charge your batteries instead of the grid. If you're confused so far, I'd suggest you get someone like Jomel to help you.

Yes, AC Out is connected to the Generator Side of the Transfer Switch. AC In in not connected to anything, so it acts as a stand alone system.

Yes, to the A/C panel and then onto a transfer switch. This setup let's the owner choose solar or utility power, can be by passed inside of the inverter and parameter set in software and allow the inverter to choose solar or utility power and even recharge form utility power or supplement solar production when needed to carry critical loads , load share and peak or time of use reduction of utility service .
