It stems from Latin "accuratus" and we use it in German as "akkurat" in precisely same sense😊🇦🇹

Great suggestion for a topic to cover in the future. -li appears after a verb and it works as the conjunction 'if'. E.g.: Chcete-li (if you want). It's quite formal and archaic now but it appears in manuals, for instance.

@@CzechbyZuzka Ano, velmi dobrý nápad! My z komunity žijící v Rumunsku, kteří mluvíme starou, poněkud archaickou češtinou, velmi často používáme spojku -li. PS. Neovládám českou gramatiku, nevím, jestli jsem řekl správně, že "-li" by to byla spojka. Nebo je to jen částice???

@@LaszloVondracsek One of the explanations I've run into was this: -li is a short form ( also called clitic) for the full form jestli. As with all clitics, they can be used only in the second position whereas the full form needs to be somewhere else. So, it can be "jestli chcete" or "chcete-li" but not "chcete jestli" nor "li chcete". I'd vote for a separate video dedicated to clitics as it is a very interesting and quite complex topic, "jestli Zuzka to chce" 😊

Are právě and prostě sometimes synonyms of akorát, or do they mean something slightly different? For example: Ty mi tady akorát/prostě překážíš! Bylo akorát/právě po revoluci, takže ...

Very interesting words worth discussing! *'Právě'* is a good alternative to express that something is being done or was finished right at that moment, like in the example you're suggesting: _Bylo akorát/právě po revoluci..._ An interesting feature of 'právě' (combined with 'že') is that we can also use it to express a contradiction in informal Czech, often explaining the opposite of our action: _- Koupils to maso?_ - Did you buy the meat? _- Právě že jsem na to zapomněl..._ - Actually, I forgot about it... *'Prostě'* is not a synonym, although it can be translated as 'just', it means 'simply' (the adjective 'prostý' means 'simple, plain'): _Prostě jsem na to zapomněl, no..._ - Well, I just/simply forgot about it...
