Hi George, that of course is also an option. I have never used a paddle leash, never been attracted to using a paddle leash. Anyway I don't use any leash nowadays, but for the channel I think I should try a paddle leash a few times to say something sensible about it. But in the end it all comes down to that everyone does what works for them and what feels comfortable and safe for themselves. Greetings, Paul

Agree, I have lost mine a few times. Took ages to get it back. But we all take chances I suppose, sometimes I attach mine and sometimes I don't. Adds to the excitement a little bit.

Also, I would like to add, it would be great to see how other people get back on their board in deeper, rougher water. That's always a challenge.
