The problem I see with so many beginners....is bad habits being ingrained...and the people coaching them being too nice to correct them. The other aspect is swings that seem detached from their body, in that they are swinging with their arms, but the core of their body is not actually involved. My feeling often is that many beginners are struggling in basic coordination, and would do well to play a variety of sports....to develop more body synchronization and ccordination. Golf is based on some basic setup and swing rules for beiing successful with each club. You need to follow those basic rules, if you're ever going to develop any power or consistency in hitting balls in this sport.
