Doctor and Fortune 500 consultant Isaiah Hankel is an internationally recognized expert in the biotechnology industry who specializes in helping businesses transition into cutting-edge, entrepreneurship-driven markets. Long before getting his degree, Isaiah worked as a sheep farmer and lived in rural Idaho. In the last three years Isaiah formed three successful, multinational businesses and started managing a multimillion dollar product line. He's given over 250 seminars in 22 different countries and is about to publish his first book, Black Hole Focus, with Wiley & Sons.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

This principle is the secret why I could work as a programmer without having studied informatics. I started my codes with the last line writing what the program should return. Then asked myself "ok, what would be the one thing the program would need to be able to return the wanted result." Then asked myself "ok, now what would be the one thing that was needed to return that thing that is needed to return the wanted result" ...and so on. I still need to implement this principle consequently to all aspects of my life.

Now I know that starting with the end in mind not only increases my ability to see a bigger picture of what I'm capable of doing, but a whole lots of what I'm capable of achieving! Thanks for the inspiration.

This could be a life-changing speech. The Hope experiment was astonishing. I've never written my goals and worked backwards the way you suggest, but I feel hopeful that doing so could help me a great deal. Thank you so much!

Probably best talk of life and how our minds work. People who write goals make 9 times more than those who didn't. And reviewed every week at their goal in paper.

Damn this guy's life sounds like my old life, accept the picture I was holding was of Brad Pitt and I was in the legal field and senior care. I got so burnt out from just being in the matrix, I just walked in both my jobs, and said goodbye. I was working over 70 hours a week while raising a baby and going through a rough patch in my marriage and burying one loved one after another. I put on 70lbs eating fast food, and had been sitting in my car crying endlessly. I am now doing the complete opposite now, and feel peace growing inside me. It took me a year to recover from being a puppet and start writing my wish list. I am now an expert at creating goal charts and updating them and following them. I updated my goal charts every few days and look at it daily. I am up by 5 am doing what my dream is, and is thankful that NOW money is coming to me in increasing amounts through multiples sources on a continuous bases.

Let me tell you a story. There ones was a herd of sheep, when 5% of them did something the rest followed. Then one day a sheep gave som pretend insperational speach about the importace of not doing that making irrelevant comparisons to rats and highschool. After this went around eating grass and slowly walking everyday until the end of there lives but they did it without doing it when everyone else did it. And they were so proud of their new different lives calling themselves leaders of their own life and not sheep.

I cut out many negative people. Unclear for years, but presently there are two goals I have mind. I've never applied this path to anything. I think I will apply it to one of my goals and see how far I get. I understand this speech. I can see now....If I set the end...then everything I choose to do will be with that end in mind. The choices I've been making do not really support the end in mind. I see that now. Thank you for your wonderful teaching moment.
