i bought a laptop and believe me there is a huge difference between learning from mobile and learning from big screen but the most important thing that matter the most is how much carefully you are listening the lesson 😇

THANK YOU AND I THINK THIS MASS DRAWING METHOD IS HUGELY USEFUL FOR OUR UNDERSTANDING THE MILLIONS OF LITTLE BLOCKINGS OF VARIETY OF COLOUS WHICH ACTUALLY COMPRISE OUR NATURAL WORLD INSTEAD OF HUGE AMOUNT OF LINES. BLESS YOU!

I absolutely love your drawings Stephen and aspire to draw well again, but after suffering a brain injury to the right hemisphere, specifically temporal and parietal lobes, drawing anything representational is very difficult. Its known as "constructional apraxia." Not trying to let it deter me from my passions, but it is more difficult than ever. That said, oddly enough the "mass drawing" style is easier for me follow then a typical "block-in" with lines. Wish me luck! At the very least, I have Abstract to fall back on. Took up painting which I love and it makes me feel free from my disabilities while creating. Currently reading Kandinsky's "Concerning The Spiritual in Art." fantastic read if you havn't yet. Cheers! - Nathan

Hello Stephen, I’m looking to improve my drawing skills while saving up to attend an atelier someday. I was looking through your courses and the two that stood out to me are the drawing essentials and the block-I’m course. I’d like to improve my draftsmanship. Which course would be best to start in your opinion? I was wondering if the block-in course covers the same stuff as in the drawing essentials course or vice versa. Any advice?
@stephenbaumanartwork Жыл бұрын
Tough question. The block in course is really portrait focused. Drawing essentials is more broadly about drawing.
