isnt 1200 gph super over kill on a 40 gallon breeder. am planning the same build a 40 breeder reef peninsula style with a fijicube 600 gph overflow box into one of there sumps. is 600gph enough. aways read you want 10-15 times turn over. did you put the drill template on the inside to line up you water line or out. seems like inside gives you a higher level. tks for your time.

Did you use spacers on the inside and outside? I’m about to install this same overflow on a 40b and most people modify the trim but it seems as if yours is not modified.
