More vlogs would be awesome! Maybe more with your cats and the birb, maybe more with your sister, since you guys are really awesome to watch together, craft kits or not, travel would be awesome, especially when you go to Tokyo, maybe a whole series when that happens. Maybe some cooking videos again, maybe have a specific day for that (once a month, and it could be a vote what you made), i'm just excited to see more videos from the vlog channel!

The only problem with Harry Potter or Avengers, etc is that it may fall into the “kids” category starting in January, like she was saying. So she’s looking for other topics that don’t fall in those grey areas.

You should paint the tealight black and E6000 it to the top of the lantern above the birb. Maybe even get a bright white one to illuminate it better.

Pottery wheels are very exspensive. But... but.. I am weired. Just modify a recordplayer turn table 3 speeds. 33/3. 45. 78. Ok yes as a child I did that after I couldn't go to craft pottery shows as a kid. Got in a lot of trouble. Lol.

I like ALL THE THINGS! Just hanging out with you Jackie makes my day brighter. I would love a thorough Japanese vac blog, or as thorough as you feel comfortable with. Japan is on my list of places to visit one day, although my first international travel out of the US is probably going to be the UK or Ireland. If only because of the language barrier.

I have never taken a class but I have signed up for a class at Buckeye Ceramics here in Columbus, Ohio to see Jon the potter. He has a pottery channel here on youtube and he is nice to look at. If and when you get a pottery wheel, you should do a video making some pots.

I feel like a little bit of everything for the vlog channel would be cool. Know that's not super helpful, but if you categorized different types of vlogs within the same channel it could be a fun way to do a little bit of everything. Like 'adventure jackie' for travel vlogs, and 'bts jackie' when you just have more footage from the making of crafts/having to run to the store cause there's always something you forget when crafting dang it :p but anyway, that way you don't have to restrict yourself to 'exciting' content, because we like watching the mundane day to day stuff too

Either way vlogs or videos I enjoy your content and really do hope youtube doesn't mess with you or anyone else who does even remotely similar content... They help people like myself find the right type of gifts for the childer and or crafters in our lives. For sending your sculptures, what if you get like.. a block of styrofoam or foam and cut it out in the shape of the sculpture? Plus, double boxing helps a lot too. Aaaa I love pottery! I took a class and it was a lot of fun. I loved wheel throwing especially! Don't forget, if you get a pottery wheel, you have to fire that clay in a kiln somewhere + glazes. I would actually really love to see a "Day in the Life" Vlog and/or one of those "my life in drawings/art" types of things. Also bloopers and behind the scenes are always fun. Honestly though, I would love any vlogs that you do- travel (come to the EAST coast US please!), going out, hanging out, everyday things, anything! I still would also love to see you play with Apoxie Sculpt.

Travels are always interesting! To see how your potteryclasses go too. As for other types of craftkit reviews, is there even any craftkits for age 14 and up? I work for a shipping company, and the best way to deal with any fragile items is to bubble wrap it a lot and make sure that it's snug in its box. :) Also stay away from any single-ply boxes as they can crumble under heavier weight and whatnot. Also, pottery is a lot of fun. I used to do it a lot in school but haven't touched an actual pottery wheel since graduation. But I found that just making the pots is very relaxing. You just kind of chill and make things happen with the clay. Lol! And yes! Travel blogs would be so cool!

About pottery wheels: I recommend buying used. There is very little that can go wrong with them. I got a Shimpo VL Whisper wheel, and honestly, it's too quiet! A wheel where you can hear the speed will make your life easier, in my opinion. Vlogs - I'm picky but I like yours Travel Vlogs - yes Project Updates - yes, please Going out/shopping - yes Drawings - yes Pottery - yes Sika - Yes! Angel - Absolutely. In regards to salt, honestly, salt is why I started watching you in the first place. It was so refreshing to hear candid reviews of kits, by someone who really understands the crafts involved. My hope is that as KZbin processes all the input it's getting, you'll be able to do both channels without having to give up comments/ads.

Hi Jackie. I love your new adventure with ceramics. Your cup looks great! I hope you have good luck trimming it. When I started I made 15 bowls that I trimmed through, til I got a viable non flower pot. I've been doing it for 2 years now and became a ceramic lab technician at my college. As for the ones we have in the studio, they are all shimpo. I actually got a freebie when they were recycling out old ones. Super score! As for aliexpress ones, just don't. The motors are bad and the wheels usually skip or stop. The splash pans are usually also TRASH! Tough to clean up and non removable. Save the money up because it's worth it. I got a tiny one on aliexpress and even that needed modifications to be somewhat workable. So save the cash up or look to second hand (see if functioning first though). A bit of potters advice: Always make extra because the kiln gods are even less unforgiving.

If you put a translucent layer of iridescent paint behind the bird, and then placed the tea light at the top of the 'cage' with an almost conical shape hiding the tea light itself, and directing the light to the back of the 'cage', you might get a really neat back-lit effect in a dark room.

My friend started doing ceramics for a business. The start up cost is very high. Not only the wheel and the clay, but any glazes you want to use. And if you want your own kiln, that's a ton as well. IF you can borrow a friend's kiln or fire somewhere regularly, that will cut down on costs, but it's not cheap to get into.

It's cool that you got all excited about pottery after trying that cheap wheel. I stumbled across a British reality show on KZbin a little while back called "The Great Pottery Showdown" or something like that and binged watched all of season 2. It's really interesting and inspiring and since you make a lot of stuff out of polymer clay you might like some of the prompts they are given. In one episode they had to make a clock, in another a working water fountain and even a toilet! It was cool to see how different everyone's design turned out. I'd like to see you make a working clock out of polymer clay- I think it'd be really cool. I hope the new policies in January don't destroy your channel.. or KZbin in general for that matter. I can't tell you how many channels I love that aren't meant for kids but involve arts, crafts, games, action figures or animation. I'm scared too.

I used to go to craft fairs and throw on a wheel and I bought a little portable potters wheel called speedball Artista potters wheel: And I adore it I also have a full-size one at home but I actually prefer the smaller one, It’s easier to clean. However you will need to have a Kiln you will have to know what kind of electrical system your house has before you can get one. Most of the time it takes a 220 the little baby kiln are not worth buying. However you can get a pretty good kiln on craigslist . I would buy a used kiln but buy a good wheel.

Quick answers - love your personality (both Salty and Sweet), so I'm definitely down with with the vlog style. I find the behind the scenes stuff to be interesting too. I really want to see Nailogical's figure once the custom box is fully done. Follow ups on you learning pottery and seeing that develop is a really good (and non-child-centric) series you could do. Starting with raw clay, through to firing, glazing, learning to add figural elements, different techniques, from a beginner (and therefore accessible to those of us who have considered but are too scared to try it) is something I would definitely watch. I also love your series with turning KZbinrs into characters, which again, doesn't seem particularly kid-centric (is sculpture for kids?). I really wish KZbin could at least give more clarity on what is or is not going to be designated as "for kids", so my fav channels can start figuring out how to evolve to fit the new requirements, before it's in full force in January. Changing NOW before it goes into effect, seems like it's easier to make sure all current content fits new rules before the AI steps in and screws people over.

I’d love to see some travel stuff! I’d like to see stuff around Montreal, like landmarks, your favourite places to go, the park where you get your rocks 😆 It would be cool to see day trips to other places in Quebec too, like Vieux Québec, Sherbrooke, Trois Rivières, etc. In terms of reviews, it would be cool to see comparisons of cheap stuff off eBay/amazon/ali express/wish vs the equivalent from Michaels or Walmart.

You could do some videos of your exploration in pottery? I dont think that's really for kids, I mean sure they could do it but there would have to be parental guidance or an adult present, to me it's more of an adult hobby/pastime/skill. Or make vlogs for the adventures of Jackie and Zika 😂 show us your favorite places to go in Montreal, and the events there as mentioned would be nice to see. I love your content and really hope that the new changes dont affect your channels!!! You're my favorite channel to watch!! ❤❤

For the light to the birb book-ends maybe put the light in the top of the lantern pointing down. It'd glow down on top of the birb giving it a creepy but neat effect. I used markers (old no-name brand markers) to color the fake wick to give it a neat flame look. So maybe that could be useful? As for the vlogs...I'd be happy to hear/watch anything you'd be willing to share! I not picky when it comes to vlogs. For me vlogs give me a sense of freedom in my stuck-in-my-room life. I have horrible anxiety that going out is rough on me and all I want to do is stay at home. So it'd be an adventure to watch anything!!! For thee things to do in them. I'd be totally open to see the teacher side of you. I love learning new things and art outside of digital and pencil I fail at. I'm a horrible perfectionist and I try really hard to get commissions but fail. So I'd love to learn how you get your creative idea in your mind and how you express it to the subject you are working on. I think that'd be fun to see the full start to finish thought creation 8D!!! (if that makes sense XD)
