Awesome video with some nice builds, I'd like to give my opinion on all the builds for new people. Ice Crash Slayer - Rush Resolute Techniques at all costs, it'll be a big damage increase while leveling since you wont be missing 1/3 or even a couple hits in a row, the strength along the way will give you a lot of damage and health. Should be a strong and safe league starter. Shock Nova/Stormcall Inquisitor - Looks super fun, painful to play with hybrid because of stuns and can only be solved by losing your neck slot to Eye of Chayula(there are other means that give you stun resistance and such but I relaly don't feel that they do anything), in which case why go hybrid because you losing 20% of your life with that amulet on. Tornado Shot Assassin - Yay not going to see drill neck slammed on every single bow build in the game any more. Flameblast Totems Inquisitor - Takes a little while to get used to, can be a little slow at first but the longer you play the build the more Italian you become and you'll be making pizza like the best of them in no time. Essence Drain Scion (Deadeye/Occultist) - Probably the strongest choice, color pallet of the skills can start to make you feel like you dying from herpes after a while but fun to play and level with especially when you chain it on massive groups of mobs.

rszgh well the calculations and features are indeed great with path of building but for a simple showcase like this the offline skill tree is better - the design and interface are much nicer.

No Nicklas, Path of Building is a very in depth program where you can fine tune all your builds with items, find out what combination of points favors you the most, display how much damage you actually deal (with full calculations in a separate tab), import and export real characters from anyone etc etc. It's simply the best planner out there atm.

FinnickMobile, I think it would be better to display the characters on Path of Building since it would let people get a clearer picture of what they're seeing and what potential the build has. I don't really care that much however since I don't like copying builds, since I think seeing a build concept you have really work is the best part about this game. But for people that just want to run around killing stuff a clearer picture of what they're dealing with would probably be nice.

its still good but flameblast totems will function better as it doesnt require a weapon or facebreaker to scale damage it just has less aoe

It's still really good and a good starter build. Obviously it won't be competitive compared to flameblast, but it's also a good option if you want to do some lab farming.

I believe mainly cuz it is less starter friendly than the above build, because you do need a decent 2h to scale the damage after mid game unlike most of the above build which literally require nothing to scale well from early game all the way to end game.

It was nerfed in previous patch. Ancestral Warchief now does 10% less damage at all levels. Fixed behaviour with the center of the slam being significantly further away than the totem's melee range. The skill now has +10 melee range at all levels, and the slam will always be centered at melee range away from the totem. So.. !0% less damage and double dipping less AOE confirmed. XD

A few questions on the Shock Nova Inquisitor. 1) How do you get leech ? 2) apart from Call of the brotherhood and Pledge of Hands, everything else should be rare with good rolls ? 3) the gem controlled destruction linked with crit shock nova does not make sense to me. Am i missing something ? 4) IIs Hibrid str/int gear is prefered ? 5) Seriously now, how do you get leech ?

1) warlords mark+curse on hit+orb of storms 2)yes I think so, you can use a good talisman if you want to and a helmet enchantment (shock nova area/damage or storm call duration) would be advised 3)I think hes just using so much crit (5power charges, crit nodes on the tree, inc crit strikes gem) that it just doesnt matter to him and he just gains the more spell damage multiplier 4)you can use pure int gear too, it just has to have good life rolls on it (maybe 1 hybrid for the off colour gems, vaal haste etc) 5)up

I'm running a shock nova build right now, lvl 81 currently and I like carcass jack for the extra area+damage, and with that said, i'm running hybrid evasion/es as well. I prefer orb of storms with the curse on hit because you can add the power charge on critical to it with a four link. Been working really well for me, one of the stronger builds ive ever played and reeeeally cheap.

felipe Magno for me its with the use of crit (from the tree and power charges) combined with the pledge of hands staff (5 linked atm but that only happened for me at lvl 82) and with a high level shock nova. The inqusitor gives the crazy pen with crit so it's perfect. Math's tree is pretty damn good but you can fine tune it for what you like.

Could you help with a question I've been trying to get answered. Barbarian ancestrial warchief build i've been following spends 9 passives points to get 26% aoe range and 20% increased aoe dmg. It is an axe focused build i follow and it skips the 2h axe node which gives 157% increased phys dmg with axes and 9% attack spd for 9 points as well. If I couldn't get both following the build why should I take the aoe passives?

Would you recommend a raider cyclone build as a starter ? I want to make a Ngamahu's Flame CI cyclone build and I know that you need 2 or 3 expensive items in order to do it correctly, but I still want that as my first character, what would you recommend I play as a raider ranger while I can manage some money in order to respec & play as my build of choice ? Scyths1 All melee pretty much level up as Sunder or Lacerate. Why stay away from it until you are CI though? Flame cyclone does just fine life based as a league starter and for almost no investment at all.

Marco Tamborini power charge on block from staff nodes nodes, I currently have 38% block so it procs alot. Also orb of storms - power charge on critical - increased critical strikes(optional). Keeping power charges is no problem, consistently leeching via warlords mark is a problem though.

iam not pro so can't answer you perfect. but if there are to many unique requirements you might search for an other build. there are a lot of builds dont need any unique. Well thats a negativ aspect of SSF. you lower the amounts of builds for a league start, especially if your not super pro in poe

Selby Brouwer the general MoM rule is: your unreserved mana should equal 43% of your hp to prevent oneshots. In this case I'd calculate how much unreserved mana I can get first, take that number times 2,5 as my life amount (reversing the life->mana ratio to mana->life) to safely prevent oneshots and after that invest into es as your leech buffer.

I tried Your LA/BR voltaxic deadeye from "Atlas starter builds", it was/is super cool, but i found it hard on endgame t15+ maps. Mathil, Crit staff inquisitor ice crash with hrimburn? Endgame viable?

I came up with Cold burn EK Assasin/Elementalist/etc, using Hrimburn gloves + new phys->cold nodes you hit 90% phys to cold which makes cold damage apply ignite and with elemental equilibrium you apply -50 fire res. Usually when I go poison spell on Assasin I feel I lose some of the nodes because of the attack base on the poison branch, so I go with full life/low life more crit and cull crit strike branch with power charge branch, to just throw one EK that crits, applies a big ass ignite and move on, using the new EK jewel and enough projectile speed (around 45 from tree, 40 from wand and 60 from support gem and 40 from skill gem) you can cover the entire screen. This build is used to farm the shit out of your typical strand maps with queen of the forest (if life-based, can go LL or CI too) and clear on one hit.

How much would an average rolled pair of facebreakers cost at the start of the league? You'll end up farming dried lake at merciless for hours by the time you'll accrue enough currency to buy those. Not to mention that you need jewelry with added phys damage on top of gloves

You can put points randomly and use burning arrow and achieve better results than that...

750+ % facebreakers cost around 10c last league during the first days I think...jewellery will be hard to get, Bringer of Rain will cost around 10c as well, the Great old one's ward shield or w/e it was called also around that price probably... 30c seems a bit rough for day one but you can definitely grind that out in dried lake with the chaos recipe.

You get a Lioneye's fall jewel, put it in that slot and it will transform those claw nodes to bow nodes

I'm playing the Assassin Tornado Shot Build and I'm pretty happy so far. Kinda curious -> Why hasn't Mathil take the Piercing Nodes from the Passive Tree? They are directly at the current Path so it would "only" take about 3 to 4 points to have around 100% Piercing chance. Combined with the Drillneck which increases the damage with the Piercing chance it should be worth it or not? Someone knows why he didn't take those? Thanks in advance! ^_^

I was trying the shock nova inquisitor and with the Ascendancy "Instruments of Virtue" I get a pretty substantial damage boost if I use an attack every 4 seconds. I tried leap slam, but it felt too clunky. I was wondering if there are some smooth skills that don't really take me out of the playstyle or if I should just ignore this 30% cast speed buff entirely. so I'm doing this pizza blast thing. First there's an unnecessary node below Written in Blood, two attachments to the Int node that is below. Also, why Assasin's mark with Ancestral Bond build. Does the totems get the benefit of the curse? Pretty neat I guess.

Jordan Zornes scion is a good starter for essence drain because it is life instead of CI or lowlife. Both of those require more expensive gear that will be hard to get early in the league. I ran lowlife ED as Occultist last league. Very strong.

Slayer has aoe bonus, direct 2h damage nodes and super leech, raider has superior attack speed, elemental status immunity and super frenzies. Pick your poison.

Think I'll do what I do every League. SRS Necro. Make my own levelling gear with vendor recipes that are easily made, and SRS has few slow-down moments while levelling.
