Videos like that give me a HUGE motivation to PLAY in game. Farming good artifacts, gathering some resouces, routine etc. Nevermind. Even without pulls, abyss can give everyone a chance to close it completely. And you can prove it, with starer (sic!) characters, again and again. Already saved builds, but without a small part of your skill these solid numbers will be nearly useless. As has been said, I need to play in game, because I definitelly did it wrong. I thought about her, but I’ll have to figure out how to deal with two issues when using her: - If I replace anyone on the team, I lose some buffs that Kachina doesn’t cover. - It might becomes extremely hard to battery XiangLing without swapping her to Favonious Lance, which is likely overall a DPS loss.

I’m new here and wow. This was actually really fun to watch and also very informative. I never fought that gravity mek boss in open world so I didn’t know a thing about it. After watching your video and reading everything. I now understand that shitty boss and its stupid mechanics. I don’t have any geo characters built bc I don’t like geo at all but ig I’ll build Noelle only. I have Furina so ig it will also be a good investment. Great video!

Your comment just made me notice that I forgot to put Noelle’s build in the video, but you can probably get a way with an under-invested Noelle against the Arithmetic Enhancer Mek: imgur.com/a/VOEAhwh. You also likely can get away without Geo infusion on Noelle. As mentioned in the video, Noelle’s Geo infusion doesn’t give her more Poise damage, so the amount of shield GU depleted per plunge (not factoring in Crystallize) doesn’t change with and without infusion. This also means that you could use any Claymore character since they’ll achieve the same purpose of breaking the Geo shield here. Also, someone asked how to dodge this boss’s attacks in another comment, so I’ll copy and paste my comment here in case it helps you. I did have more information about this boss that I didn’t put in the video.

Here’s my comment: “In my experience, this enemy telegraphs its attacks way more noticeably than most enemies in the game. I suggest teleporting to this enemy in open world and practicing dodging (as in don’t attack it but just focus on dodging). That way, you don’t have to keep going through the first half in the Spiral Abyss to get to that enemy. As for actual tips against the boss, I have some suggestions: - Against the attack that creates circles in the ground, if you have trouble timing your dash i-frame against it, I would briefly pause attacking the boss to make sure you’re stepping outside of the circle. Additionally, every time it spawns circles, one will always appear under you, so you can memorize the timings to get ready for it beforehand. - Against the attack where it summons debris from the ground to shoot you, it’s worth noting that those debris don’t home toward you. It will mark the latest position you were at each time one of them starts to move and fly to that position. You can either dodge them by running around as soon as they start to fly at you or jump to throw off where they aim at. Additionally, there’s this bug (or at least I think it’s a bug) where swapping characters during that attack will cause the debris to lose track of you. Specifically, the boss will aim the debris at the location you swapped characters and won’t track where you move thereafter. - Against the shockwave attack, you can’t use dash i-frames against it, so you have to jump over them. I suggest just memorizing the timing for that and squeezing in attacks between each jump.”

i would never believe that Hoyo always have been making free 4 star characters to clear abysses, the most confusing character for me is Barbara, because none of the characters would have so good synergy in healing+bloom creating, except Kokomi which purpose i still dont really understand. Are there people who completed abyss using Kaveh? Anyway, thanks for another perfect clear

Barbara on field applies a lot of hydro, especially if enemies crowd around. I use her in burgeon, fridge, hyperbloom and nilou bloom, all on field. she heals great in all (bcs healer build lol), but her nilou bloom healing impressed me most, she heals quite well at 25k hp!

there are people that clear abyss with kaveh. if I got him, I'd use him with nilou. there are some people that use kaveh spread or kaveh hyperbloom. plenty of vids out there kokomi is a healer that functions as a dps in her burst (that also heals). she usually gets hydro dmg bonus goblet she's great for nilou bloom bcs great hydro app. she was used for freeze a lot more before. I was also confused how koko worked before, I was gonna get her but decided not to

@@-toriizaka46 i just dont understand Kaveh's kit, because his burst is too long, blunt attacks are unfreezing enemies, so he maybe works better in burgeon, so teams like Xingxiu, Thoma, Kaveh, Nahida would work well i guess, but i am still not sure about it, since Nahida will apply dendro much faster on her own, so i started to think is he synergizes with electro characters like Beidou, because he have wide basic attacks, meaning he is for multi targets, and Beidou also , so by having Electro-Charge on enemies, it will provide the same amount of blooms, as it would be with 1) dendro 2)+hydro reaction. I have Kaveh but i am too lazy to building him, i guess he deals no damage in this team and only provides dendro application so i guess its ok to run him on 20 lvl?

@adfghsfol kaveh is for bloom. he's meant to explode the blooms himself with his skill. he uses em, since his passive allows him to heal from bloom damage. so he should be lvl 90 you you could use him in burgeon, but just as a driver (and he can heal from burgeon self dmg)

Most of the damage likely comes from Kuki’s hyper-bloom damage. Does she have a ton of EM and is level 90? Additionally, if you’re dying to the Hydro Tulpa, I suggest keeping track of its arm movement because it telegraphs its attack very noticeably with its arms.

In that case, how often are you applying Dendro with Alhaitham? I would stay on-field as him as much as possible since you can exploit the permanent Hydro aura to spawn a ton of Dendro Cores. I do also explain a bit about spawning more Dendro Cores in the video too.

At the moment, I don’t see any use cases for Kachina outside of breaking Geo shields and Nightsoul, but I haven’t looked much into her kit yet. If I see more use cases, I’ll reply to your comment again, 👍

I just read the leaks about her kit and the artifacts. I think the main value from her is her ability to use the artifact set that gives 40% DMG Bonus to characters of the element that she triggers a reaction with. However, this might be extremely hard to pull off in a rotation and make the energy issues worse for the starters. The two teams I can see her in are the overload and melt teams, but regardless of who I replace, I’ll lose something that the character provides (removing Amber removes Pyro resonance and my main battery for XiangLing, removing Lynette removes VV-shred and the Sophisticated Synergy buff, etc.). I’ll look more into it in the meantime.

I believe he applies Dendro much more slowly than the others. Additionally, Barbara applies Hydro so fast in AOE (because of the way her skill works) that Dendro Cores would spawn fast enough to surpass the 6 Dendro Core limit, so they pop very fast. This would also defeat the purpose of Kaveh’s Skill because there isn’t much of a reason for Kaveh to use his Skill if the Dendro Cores rapidly pop anyway.

Some CN players in past versions have solo-ed the Spiral Abyss with some characters like Fischl, KeQing, GanYu, etc. I don’t remember the weapons, but I do recall GanYu used R5 Sharpshooter’s Oath (this is a gacha weapon, but there are craftable weapons that are better in some situation). liilli has attempted C0 starter characters only runs with only craftable weapons and R1 Favonious Warbow, but they haven’t managed to pull off a 36-star run. For the case of 36 stars without pulling, there might have been someone who pulled this off before, but I’m not aware of them if such a run exists. But, I am willing to believe such a run is possible.

the closest i’ve seen is from nobles with 32 stars in 11/2022 abyss but i’ve never seen any actual gameplay. i wanted to ask this question because i started a new account recently hoping to save for a c6 character someday so i was thinking of some team comps for that account but while doing some research i’ve found out there is no video about no pulling 36 star abyss. it just raises the question if it’s actually achievable and if not, will new units like kirara and the free 5 star make it actually doable since you can prob get alot more dps(maybe aggravate keqing or sth like that) does liilli have any videos about the attempts with free characters? i would be quite interested in seeing some of their runs
