Just gotta drop in and say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I bought a salvage title S2000 ~2 years ago now and your videos have truly saved me more time, energy, and money than I can count. If you ever find yourself in Salt Lake City, I would happily buy you as much beer as you can possibly drink! haha

Great instructions as usual, it should be noted that the AP1 has far more wires and hoses on/under the intake manifold and is nearly impossible to reach the rubber boots for the starter signal wire and power. For MY03 I removed the pulley tensioner and gained all the visibility and space I needed. Hope that helps someone with an AP1.

The great thing about your videos is the well lit, in focus close up shots. I see you get your cellphone in there and take the time to get it framed well. Thanks also for taking the time to edit the content after rather than making the Blair Witch Project of car videos. Much appreciated.

Are you aware of any rebuild kits? I didn’t find one in my google search but thought you might have some insight. Thx for the video by the way… super helpful in my replacement today.

You should do a video on how to test the convertible control module to test window functions!

Never heard of this before...Is there an s2ki thread on this?
@@Ayang1125 Hmm. Doesn't seem like a super popular issue but if more people request it I can look into it.

Will you do a soft top replacement video one day?
@DIYGuysvideo4 жыл бұрын
Probably not to be honest. I only film videos after I’ve done a job once and I have never done a soft top replacement. So I would need to have a soft top to replace and another to film.

Do the torque specs/wrench account for the lack of torque with extensions?
@DIYGuysvideo3 жыл бұрын
The straight extensions shouldn’t affect the torque wrench settings
@FroztiProductions3 жыл бұрын
@@DIYGuysvideo cool. All the slop from the extensions meant even my big air impact couldn't get the trans bolts off, had to use breaker bars and interlocked wrenches. I assumed that meant the torque wrench would be affected but there's no slop when tightening with a torque wrench, duh!
