Just got my starter locs today and my loctician shampooed, conditioned and went through my whole head with a fine tooth comb. My hair is to my lower back, a few inches from waist length, very thick and is type 4bc. My scalp was sore when I got home…but the coils are pretty. Seeing you detangle made me a little jealous. Lol.

Why is it that when I do my coils they start to come apart as soon as I take my hand off of hair. When as I’m twisting the coils look so promising until I let go of hair. This video is so informative I’ve watched your KZbin channel for a few months and recently decided to get locs so I went to loc beauty shop and the owner looked and my hair and told me I would have to get two strand twist and get them medium because of my texture I told her I wanted coils and I wanted them pencil length and she told me that her shop did locs according to hair textures I thought that you could start locs using any method I always saw in your videos that you give the customer what they want as long as the hair is healthy unfortunately because of this I’m unsure about getting them because two strand twist locs are not what I want hopefully you can come out with some content regarding that topic anyways great video
