Hey Damian It’s ya flygirl. I’m happy to see this post. I’m so glad I started with you. I love the lady I have now but I’m so happy you started my locs. That trek from bwi to Houston was getting more and more difficult. Well I’m a year in now and I would love to send you a picture. Ok, so my hair is longer,multi-textured & salt/pepper..After my "starter" locks it doesn't look like either person??? This may b a silly question but why not, the parts show alot of my scalp( thin hair in front) but they don't lay that close together 🤔

Please help!! 90% of videos I watched for locs say DO NOT put anything in the hair except water. I just stated his hair and he’s in the baby loc stage. I’ve used NOTHING but water. Well! Now! His scalp has started to get small dry itchy patches. What should I do to resolve this? I’ve sprayed his scalp with water for nourishment. It helped for a couple of minutes but it went back to itching him. Please help!! 🙏 You did a fantastic job.

just use some oil

1 part conditioner & 3-4 parts warm water in a spray bottle. Grab a shower cap and apply heat or steam if you can. You shouldn’t get build up if you rinse properly and shampoo next time.

I took my daughter to a lady recently to start her locs and it didn't look like this. She used something so thick to start the locs that it took 6 shampoos to get it out. And she charged me $135. For a 11 year old child. 😩 I wasted $135
