7:44 Have you tried lifting the cells and filling the bottom tray with water? About halfway, let it sit there for a while? That usually works for me, I help it along by moistening the top as well and sticking a toothpick or a flat knife along an edge in each cell to try break any hydrostatic barrier. It does take time and prep, so your way is more efficient that way. Peat moss can be hydrophobic and a pain to deal with sometimes.

Thank you for the comment, you are right that you can bottom soak and the medium will moisten. I just don’t seem to have either the foresight to do it that way or the time when I’m starting seeds. I do bottom water most of my seedlings so I know it works.
