Starting a 1927 Fordson Model F Tractor. Recorded June 21, 2020

This is a video showing how to start a 1927 Fordson Model F Tractor that is 93 years old. This tractor, named Lizzy, was the 679,928th Fordson manufactured by Henry Ford and his son between 1917 - 1928. Only a fraction of these tractors survive in running order, thousands were scrapped during WWII when metal was at a shortage and was needed to manufacture planes, tanks, guns etc. By the start of WWII, just like the Model T Ford, this was an outdated tractor which had been replaced by more modern tractors like ones with three point hitches and PTO's.
