My dad said my Grandpa was still using one in the late 40's into the fifties. My dad said he loved to hear it run, he said he'd come over sometimes just to crank it to hear it run. Dad said the steering was horrible. I bought an old Chevy Nova years ago without power steering, my dad drove it. I said, drives good doesn't it. He said yes, but it steers like an old Fordson tractor. I miss him when I see videos like this. Great video, thanks for posting it.

Awesome , 100 yr old tractor . It was a totally different world back then . To think this replaced a team of horses . Things have changed so fast in a short amount of time . Thanks for your passion for saving the old iron . That's 100% Virgin American Steel . That's why it's still here .

One of the reasons why I love your channel is cause you repair things that are in so bad condition that no one would fix it!

His patience with difficult engines is remarkable. Most would’ve thrown wrenches or cussed, but he just stays calm and keeps coaxing them to life.

Mr. Jennings…Great Job! I used to drive a Steel wheel Fordson on my Uncle’s farm early 1970s. It had a Buzz saw on the front and therefore we only used it to Buzz firewood. Once we got the Buzz Boxes working, it would run quite well. But, what a Rough ride with those steel wheels. I think that is why my Uncle made me drive it!

Jennings you’re the best! Please more videos. I know you’re a busy KZbinr, but keep cranking out videos. Can’t wait to see the tractor. Be careful of those fumes.

I get the biggest kick out of watching and listening to Jennings.. I could watch these videos for hours. It reminds me of when i was a high school kid, my buddies and i would get together and work on our cars over the weekends .. the things he says and does, chances taken, Those were some fun times.. nobody has time to do this anymore... most people don't know what they are missing..
