I've been watching videos like this on how to start booktube for a bit (and that's why this one was recommended to me) and this one is the best I've seen so far because it's so validating in the real struggles of starting a channel. Honestly I too wish I had started sooner so definitely feel that "time game" concept. The first 500 subs are hard AF and you made me realize that I put a lot of expectations on myself and that's why sometimes I fall into the unmotivated trap. For me I’ve also had to take it one step at a time and learn for myself, but it’s definitely helpful when KZbinrs like you make videos giving advice and setting some expectations when you first start out.
