I'm just an old bat (not older than dirt tho) and I've gotta tell y'all how very very VERY impressed I am of what y'all have accomplished in such a short time. Y'all should be proud of yourselves and I wish nothing but good (sprinkled with just a touch of not so good, it'll make y'all relish the good even more...trust me) be well and know there are folks out here that are rooting for y'all.😸
I have always said that the reason that you are blessed is because you, Jordan and Kaley including Sadie are such loving people. That shows itself in how you treat growers of coffee by paying them more than the big buyers and being down to earth and loving and respectful in your dealings. Blessings always return to those who bless others which is what you do in everything that you do in your business dealings. Can't wait to see the next part of your adventure so be blessed and prosper until the next video.

my husband is Australian and I am English - we have flown between the UK and Aus for the last 35 years, always non stop, 24 hours of flying, we have done it with one 9.5 month old (try and explain jet lag to a baby!) then a 3 year old and 2.5 year old, then three children under 5 ! It is not fun, but they were always brilliant on the flights, bless them, but I feel your pain! haha. Sadie is a sweetheart and did so well.

We have some acreage on Hawaii island and I was given some coffee plants that have a back story. The hospital in Hilo has some special coffee plants growing at the entrance. The story is that a Saudi king came to visit Hawaii and his daughter got really sick and ended up in the hospital for a few months, but they couldn't all stay for that long so they left her here in the care of the hospital. When she recovered the King came back and was so grateful for his daughter being saved he gave the hospital two coffee plants that were simply called the Kings choice. They are Arabica plants that a friend of mine gave to me after he received a bunch of seedlings from the original two at the hospital. Are yall interested in trying some Hawaiin grown coffee?

17:30 Personally, I think I have the most beautiful skyline on Earth. I live at 4,000' on the US/CA border with a massive view to the west. My view consists of the North Cascades WA, US and the Snowy Protected Area and Cathedral Provincial Park BC CA. Living at 4,000' gives the experience at being up at their level. Drinking my coffee each morning looking across at a view that encompasses two countries is something I don't think I will ever see as normal. Stunning. : )

It cracked me up to hear you say thank you in Japanese and then in Spanish! When I was in college I spent a summer in Japan in 1985(a beautiful life changing experience). I was studying Spanish at the time. When I came back to college I found myself almost answering in Japanese in my Spanish class. 😂 This video is quite nostalgic for me! Have a fantastic time!

Sadie is amazing! When my grandfather was really sick, who had not met his granddaughter, we flew to Holland. She cried for 3 hours on the flight to England. I felt so bad for her and everyone on the plane. Never received so many evil eyes in my life. Unfortunately, they didn't have cell phones or videos-on-demand at that time. Great job, you guys.

Crazy watching this most recent episode. My wife and kids and I just spent a little under 3 weeks in Japan, seeing much of exactly what you're experiencing and seeing. The quietness of people on the streets and in restaurants, the lack of trash and grime, the difficulty in finding food you feel like, how few people speak any English, the craziness of finding your way through the rail systems, the mountainous nature of Japan and all the forestry you don't imagine surrounding you, the difficulty in finding sushi on the streets, the odd lack of architectural beauty of much of their buildings that aren't historic pagodas, the lack of interest in you as a tourist by locals.....it's just SO different. We loved it because it was kind of like getting dropped into their world and them not really caring all that much. Kyoto was our favorite place in Japan, by far the most arts/cultural and interesting. Hope you're having a blast!

I've made that trip to Japan, twice, and yes, it is grueling and long. But memorable. I took the route ATL to Houston to Tokyo, then another 3 hour flight to Okinawa. The Houston to Tokyo flight flew up over the Northwest Territories covered in snow at dusk, and over the top of Alaska, looking down on Prudhoe Bay and the Arctic Ocean. Everything was pink and lavender. It was a lifetime memory. Japan is very interesting to visit.

Yes, you’ve shown us hardships, but you’re super strong & positive in those moments. Kaylee, you are the best mom! If I need sleep, I just don’t know if I could hold it together with a little one. I was never blessed with a child though. So, maybe I’d have pulled the strength from somewhere. You are truly a gift from God for your baby girl! Such an adventure! I recently stayed at the Fairmont Pan Pacific in Vancouver, BC (Canada - see the connection) which blew me away. My daughter booked it for me after I suffered a concussion rather than have me stay at the YWCA where I was booked. I shared the room with another daughter (she came to rescue me); thank goodness for photos because the recollection is a bit hazy. All I know is I want to return when I am finally better. We all deserve a bit of luxury. Best of all, other than the food, they had house doctor just in case.
