Been running Cargo/Sprinter Van for the past 7yrs . Found a niche industry and been making 6 figures a year( after expenses) for the past 3 years

Best way is work on roadie or dispatch use either small car or suv 🚙 then see how is go if good then ask dispatch company to see you market use cargo van will help u increase the paid or rental a cargo van for one month tell dispatch to switch you account to see more benefits you then invest the cargo van or use one

Wow wow wow now you are stepping into my world cargo vans and box trucks can make you money and can sink you financially there is a lot to this game depending how you want to do.

Not in central Iowa; I looked into it a year ago and watched the load boards...nothing. Chatted with several guys hauling loads (W2 guys) and established companies have it locked.

What I'm hearing from gig geezer is 40 cents per mile those are stacking kikd.of orders like he described with other guys who already have a load but can take something extra so like last mile you have to look.at it that way. Stacking with long distance grocery onsee screenshots of everyday that pay $30-$50 for relatively small shop maybe a way to circumnavigate that issue along with long distance food orders like $10 for 15 miles going the same way on Uber (common in my region)

I started hauling rv's with my chevy dually 1 ton n sinking financially. Started drivin a big rig back in 07. Im now retired from truckin. I still have my Llc Bandits truckin n my dog recieves money into her account daily. The box trucks n vans n blah, you go broke real quick. If you dont have a direct customer your straight up f'd. You will end up hiring a dispatcher and pay them a fee and the cargo insurance is extremely high plus your dot # n such. Using the loadboard gets you knowwhere. I strongly dont recommend this as a hustle. Talking from my own experience

I've been watching a lot of videos and trying to do more research about starting cargo vans biz. I've looked on load boards and there absolutely nothing there for the cargo vans and box trucks or even with ur own car, and i thought trucking was bad.

I talked with a parts logistics place with my f150 out of Buffalo Rochester area they wanted w2 and you sit around for 65 cents a mile pay they were a joke I'm not sitting when I could be working

I will do pallet loads of merchandise for $2 a mile . I have had some loads for machine shops directly but it’s sparse . But I also do Furniture delivery and Junk removal. I do like the merchandise on pallet loads because they forklift it in and out . With the right size cargo van you can do Expedited loads but those are long distances which I don’t want to do . Only local for me .great guest ! He’s very knowledgeable. Insurance is very expensive for cargo .

I was looking into medical courier as a way to move away from Doordash... "Some" do make bank, most do not... What turned me off was people sleeping in their cars on long distance orders... no thanks... I use to work traveling construction, they at least gave us a hotel room...

Your mindset suck. You worry about someone sleeping in their van to save money and make close to 120k a year without a degree, where you going to make that money.
