Agreed, some of the best educational channels have stopped posting, unfortunately. This channel is one of very few that are informative.

Awesome and informative video! If possible, can you make a guide on how to import a character into UE5 and set up shaders/materials? It’s a bit daunting for someone new to the engine. Thanks for your hard work! 🙏

It's nice that you talk about tech research, during my projects I've been testing a lot and I think that is the best way to approach something, I also used it years ago to understand the baking, I took a character and tried to bake it on a low poly rock to understand how it works

I love your videos. They're highly educational, and the way you genuinely seem to take the point of view of the beginner in mind is priceless. That said, "if you know Marmoset, you know Unreal Engine" is probably the most misleading thing I've heard you say. I think the ONLY thing those two programs have in common is that they're both PBR based for material set up and they feature the same type of lights. Outside of that they're NOTHING alike. Marmoset can't use UDIMs, Unreal is node based, and raytracing, effects, and camera set up are completely different, among other things.

Thanks for your compliments! *Anyone who's used Marmoset can certainly leverage that experience when learning how to work Unreal. As a side note, if you've been in any of my physical lectures or members I heavily suggest Unreal almost exclusively. However, for learning the basics Marmoset offers a nice uncluttered and overwhelming ecosystem for practice.

@@3dmutiny I can agree with that. And I didn't intend to sound accusatory with my comment. I even went back and edited it to remove the word "dishonest" as I know it wasn't intentional, so I apologize for that.
